I passed thru for one night recently. My plane arrived very late, and it was even 30 minutes late, But the hotel can arrange a late pick up in late check-in which was very helpful. The person that picked me up was very nice and friendly. I had a good stay, and they do provide a reasonable breakfast in the morning.

This hotel itself is not terribly bad. It is old, run down, bathroom is awful, has no a/c, but for the price you can't really complain. The biggest issue is the area where it is located. The area is rough, looks scary, and it is clearly dangerous to be in. The street is packed with restaurants and clubs that play loud music at least until 2 or 3 at night, but the noise does not end at that time - crowds of drunk men and women talk, laugh, sing, yell, scream, moan - produce all kinds of lod sounds. It was absolutely impossible to sleep in the room because of the noise. Since there was no air conditioning, I had to leave windows open, but even closed windows would not help a lot. My point is the area is so bad that avoid this hotel at all cost.

Hotel cancelled on the day of arrival despite being booked well in advance. They should not accept a booking if they are going to double book. If this is how they run their business I suspect they did me a favor in cencelling. It did cause some anxiety, landing in a country I had never visited before with nowhere booked to stay.

Location is good because it is close to Gare du Nord. I was not able to see the property because even if I booked a room, there was no room for me in the hotel, probably because Expedia overbooked the hotel, so the young lady at the reception, very nice and helpful, had to find another place for me.

This was a long weekend stay in Paris. The hotel was small and comfortable for the most part. The room got too hot with the radiator on high and unable to turn it down so I was forced up open the window a little. Bed was big and comfortable enough. Breakfast was basic continental style. The local area had good, affordable restaurants and bars. The staff were polite and helpful. Nice short stay.

Good hotel very close to Gare Du Nord and Gare de l est train stations. A lots of supermarkets, shops and restaurants are around. The area is very safe and very centre to Paris so you can reach most of Paris attractions either by walking 20-30 mins or by public transport ( any buses and three subways stations). Staffs are very nice and Helful. My rooms was warm, clean and comfortable with nice balacony. Hotel looks old but is good value for money and location. Bathroom was good with hot water (you may need just to wait few minutes to get hot water). The only disappointment for me was the breakfast, when I booked it said buffet breakfast and that is not correct at all. The breakfast was Less than basic it is just a croissant, batter, jam, small piece of baguette and coffe. I think with a little invistemet, improvements and refurbishement this hotel has a potential to be one of the most successful and busiest hotel in Paris. Currently it looks like a gem in mud.

Good budget hotel, convenient for the Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and the Grand Boulevards. Situated in a busy area with a lot of cafes, bistros and food shops, it has small and fairly basic but clean and comfortable rooms. If you're expecting luxury and opulence look elsewhere (and be be prepared to pay 10-20 times as much) but if you want somewhere with good access to everything this wonderful city has to offer and a good rest in between your wanderings then this is a very good option. I would definitely recommend it and will look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel has ‘wood’ floors which is nicer than carpet. Expedia shows air conditioning. There is not one air-conditioning unit in the entire hotel. Do you not think about booking this hotel in the summer. Opening your window onto the street will be a nightmare because of the noise. I tried to change the room to get away from the street, but when I opened the door to the alternate room, it smelled of mold. Refrigerator in the room is a nice option. Front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Bathroom was abysmal and is the primary reason for the poor review. Double bed means two small single beds next to each other without a covering pad to make them seem like one. If you roll into the middle, the beds will seperate.

It was a nice room, it was overall fine. But the information from Expedia was not accurate for the room we were given. We didn't have air conditioning which we were expecting and the room did not look like the website pictures. Additionally most of the staff was extremely nice, but the male overnight staff was mean. The room was a little dirty, but as expected for a cheap hotel in Paris. Would probably stay here again, but not a "great find."

I booked here because it was cheap - and the hotel was good value. 10 minutes walk from Gare Du Nord was ideal for us. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, there are many attractions within 20 minutes . Musee des Arts and Metiers (a science museum) is a 10 minute walk away and is highly recommended. Pompidou centre is just a little further. The hotel is quite basic. Decor was in quite poor condition, so room and public areas looked decidedly scruffy. Bathroom decor was in quite poor condition, but everything worked - including the toilet flush, which comprised a piece of electrical wire and a plastic nut (actually it worked much better than many better looking toilet flushes - so I shouldn't complain!) Beds were comfortable and linen was clean and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room had no air conditioning (not surprising for a basic hotel) and it was a hot weekend. Opening the windows kept the room at a reasonable temperature - however that was not good! The street outside must be one of the noisiest streets I have been in - from about 6 am until 11 pm - not so bad overnight, but not quiet even then. The noise did make it difficult to sleep - especially dustbin lorries which seem to go along the street incredibly frequently. I don't know if the hotel had rooms facing away from the street - if so, they may be much better. Noise inside the hotel wasn't a problem - in fact it was probably quite quiet, but street noise is a big problem.
