Really nice hotel with a great restaurant

This wonderful address and the family provide quality, professionalism and sheer comfort, it a picturesque setting in the centre of the village of Ainhoa, the restaurant food and bistro is exceptional, exciting and i.aginitive. Dont hesiate to look further to when visiting this wonderful region of Basque, you wont be disappointed!

The reception is not always available, therefore, we had to wait to get serviced.

The property is in the middle of the village so very convenient. Also very convenient is the private parking area. The restaurant food and service is excellent.

Outstanding restaurant

The hotel is beyond charming and the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The town of Ainhoa is small but delightful and the hotel itself is exceptional. The rooms are lovely, clean and include all amenities one could desire (including and especially air-conditioning). The staff is friendly, polite and most helpful. A restaurant (Michelin starred!) and cafe are located on site. We took advantage of the very reasonable fixed price menu and enjoyed an incredible dinner in a truly magical setting. The grounds are lovely as well with a pool that we were unfortunately not able to take advantage of because there’s just too much to see and do in the Pays Basque!! More than highly recommended!!

Well located hotel for a short stay in the Pyrenees. The Restaurant has a Michelin starred restaurant, and although there is a bistro, it is only open in the evening which is a shame as if staying for more than one night, you do not necessarily want to eat a full meal all the time. Good looking swimming pool and garden, table tennis also available.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. A great base for seeing the Pays Basque.

Great place, nice little village. We had one problem though: the address at the site was not complete and the GPS could not get us there. We called from the road but there was the language barrier. We finally got help from s person driving by.

We loved our stay at the Ithurria hotel: excellent restaurant, comfortable room, very pleasant and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Superb hotel, originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 3, then going back for another night later. Very relaxing location in a beautiful village with superb food. Rooms maybe a bit on the small side, but then it is an old building, my room overlooked the herb garden. Rooms well furnished and impeccably maintained. Aircon a bit asthmatic though it wasn't really needed at that time of year. Hotel is close to a road which might be a bit noisy when the village is busy, but traffic dies down in the evening. Food was superb, imaginative and beautifully presented - well deserving of its Michelin star. Good range of dishes with fresh local ingredients. Breakfast was very good quality as well Staff are friendly and helpful Criticisms - well they did serve the same amuse-buche two nights running - but that is getting picky. I suspect in the height of summer the village is very busy and that might detract from the peaceful atmosphere - but it would still be worth it for the food. Wi-fi was a bit patchy at times. Would go well out of my way to stay there again (in fact I did a week later)

A revisit to this hotel and the area as we wanted to re-acquaint ourselves with the locality, particularly Ainhoa, Espelette and Sare.

Beautiful Hotel which is well located in the pretty village of Ainhoa in the foothills of the Pyrenees. We received an unexpected upgrade to a superior room which was well received. Our room was extremely well equipped and kept scrupulously clean throughout our 6 night stay. The Hotel had its own vegetable and herb garden and much of the kitchen output used home-grown products. Even the eggs were produced by the Hotel's own chickens. The meals were sumptuous with a good choice of fresh buffet fare on offer at breakfast, whatever time we emerged from our room in the morning. The dinners were exceptional, beautifully cooked & presented. The staff & management were friendly, courteous and helpful at all times.

私たちはいちゅりあホテルイチュリアに2泊しました。２日ともホテルレストランで夕食を取ったところ、２日間とも同じメニューの料理が出てきました。料理自体はとてもおいしかったのですが、２日とも同じものが出されたのは残念でした。ちなみに土地柄、ワインはとても上質で美味しくいただきました。

Joli hôtel typique du pays basques au milieu d'un des plus beau village de France ! Pratique avec plusieurs parkings à proximité. Chambre calme et confortable.

Très bon hôtel à l’architecture typiquement basque, très confortable avec une grande piscine. La restauration, que ce soit au bistrot ou au restaurant gastronomique est excellente, basée sur une offre de produits locaux de grande qualité. Petit plus, vous pouvez visiter le grand jardin dans lequel le chef puise ses légumes et diverses herbes.
