Hôtel Mercure Toulouse Centre Wilson Capitole

Good stay. Parking garage was a little tight getting in and out but we did it!

Good location.

Great location. The hotel does not have may amenities. Just a small and unstaffed lunge at the lobby and an area for breakfast.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Nothing to see nearby, but walking distance to the Place du Capitole. Also, 15 minute walk to the train station. Room had no desk. Not convenient if you brought some work to do.

Idéal pour un séjour rapide de deux nuits à Toulouse. L'emplacement est parfait, avec tout ce que la ville a à offrir juste à côté de l'hôtel. L'hôtel était propre, calme et disposait d'un parking sous le bâtiment.

professional staff, excellent breakfast, convenient own parking, central location

On the positive were the staff who were pleasant and helpful save for the one point I will come to. The hotel is opposite (on one side) a huge nightclub. I’m not sure what time they shut but it is certainly past 2.30am. I booked ‘privilege’ rooms for myself and my sister and mother. My mother (83 but fit and active) was put in a room with a seated shower arrangement. I did not know this until the second evening of our three night trip otherwise I would have asked for her to be moved. She had no idea how to work it and I am annoyed that nothing was said about it at check in. She is a bath person and would have been best placed in one of the other rooms. These rooms are opposite the nightclub so I don’t know how they are any better than any other. Thankfully my sister sleeps through everything and my mother is hard of hearing. I unfortunately like a bit of air at night but you could not have the balcony ajar because of the noise. There is a fairly standard breakfast and food outlets all around but no internal restaurant or room service. Overall a bit soulless but it depends on what you are looking for.

Decent size rooms. Went with 2 others and we all had our own room. My room had an issue with the toilet flush 1st morning, which could not be fixed, so they quickly found me another. I think it was a superior, rather than standard as booked :) Excellent location for the City. Lots to see and do. Near to Metro stations if needed. About 15min walk to main train station if you fancy a trip out. We did - Carcassone and Albi. Both amazing.

Decent place to stay right in the centre of town. Slightly dated but the rooms are clean and staff fantasic

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning and again at the end of our holiday. It's in a great central location and the staff were really accommodating with first and early check in, and then a very late arrival. Our first visit was a regular room which is on the small side (as are many in Europe), for the return we booked a Privilege room which was well worth it. We didn't have the breakfast as didn't feel that it was worth 20 Euro/person for us as we generally grab a coffee and croissant. The only criticism, and it's very much a personal preference but I'm certain others will relate, is that they use a mattress protector under the sheet that basically amounts to a plastic shower cap. It's some kind of waterproof fabric that crinkles when you turn over and traps your body heat so you wake up sweltering in the middle of the night. This was in both rooms and we tried to put up with it. Finally, the last night we actually took it off. It's a shame as the beds are really comfortable. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels of varying "stars"and that sort of protector is not the norm, there are better ones out there that don't leave guests feeling like they're in a midnight sauna. Hopefully management gets enough feedback that they consider a more reasonable alternative.

Very ordinary hotel in a great location

The hotel is very clean, modern and centrally-located. The area is nice with various restaurants and shops close by. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was quite vast,

Great location, in a very walkable area of the city with nearby dining and shopping options. Property is very nice, and staff was pleasant and attentive. Very much recommended. Minor negatives . . . if you opened a window at night, noise from street level could be fairly high (on one side of hotel), and if you tried to park a rental car in the hotel garage, if is quite difficult to maneuver in. (But other public garages are within a short walking distance that are comfortable to get into/out of.)
