ibis Montauban

Spotlessly clean, wonderfully easy to find and very kind staff, thank you

The property was beside a major highway. Check-in was quick and the restaurant was quite good but the room was musty.

Strange set up with one of every ibis sub brand on the same site. We booked into ibis normal? The red one. Reception and some of the corridors on the ground floor were modern, then you turned a corner and took a step back in time. Opening the door to the room took me back to classic ibis with the pod bathroom (we’ll get to that in a moment), no air conditioning in 35degree heat, and broken furniture (the bedside “table” was actually just a plank wedged between the bed and the wall. The pod bathroom was typical ibis but with broken strobe lights to the point where using the loo felt like a cross between a being in a nightclub and being subjected to some sort of torture sequence. We asked to change room but none other were available…so using the loo in the dark was the only option. Breakfast was good, probably the best thing about the hotel

Overall very satisfied. Easy access from motorway, plenty of free parking. Meals in restaurant limited due to Covid. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside was could not get room to good temperature, but it was freezing outside.

Great location with car park for business, but expensive restaurants inside with no English translations (it was going through a menu changeover) so difficult to order unless you went through the expensive but exuisite buffet. Service at reception was very busy but well dealt with.

hotel room was small but comfortable. Restaurant was disappointing; my wife's buffet evening meal was not hot only lukewarm. My main meal of duck was tough. Not the most enjoyable evening meal.

Friendly bilingual staff, quick and easy check-in, comfortable bed and clean. Good breakfast, if a little pricey.

It is an average hotel. The room was too hot and the thermostat was not working.

Good hotel close to the motorway was ideal for an overnight stopover. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet evening meal and breakfast were very good with excellent service. The only bad point was the air-con had been switched to heat only as it was October, but it was still very warm in Montauban. We switched it off and had to open the window for air, but being close to the motorway meant it was very noisy. Overall a good hotel experience.

The staff are very friendly and efficient. We had the buffet dinner a few nights and 19 Euro for 3 courses. Is good value for money and the food was delicious.

Had a problem with a previous hotel which the receptionist willing and efficiently sorted out for me.

This hotel was a great value with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast buffet. It is a bit far from the center of town to walk (but I had a bicycle so this was not a problem for me). Those arriving by a car may need to consider this. The staff were great at accommodating my requests quickly and were more than willing to speak English with me. I chose to practice my French with them and they were very patient with my efforts.

Room was filthy - shower caked in mould, air conditioner showing dirt at rear - and very small. We were the only British car in the car park and it would appear we were given the worst room.

All good nice food

i booked this hotel so i could have a meal after a long drive. the restuarent was closed so i had to drive for food - that meant i could not enjoy a drink. normally Ibis have an acceptable menu. i did not enjoy my stay and could have got the same for much less. dissappointed.

This hotel isn't anything special but it's clean and the beds are comfortable. It's very close (within driving distance) to the beautiful old town of Montauban

Warm welcome from staff late. Room usual Ibis decor and slightly smokey smell. Comfy bed and could open window which is good. Best wifi. Ok breakfast. Way out from town.

Chose here because it had an onsite dog friendly restaurant ( if you've been driving all day it doesn't feel right leaving the dog in the car). Unfortunately it was closed when website said it should have been open. Recommended restaurant turned out to be a 3.5 mile walk and wasn't very good. Shame as staff were good and location is ideal for our journeys but won't go again
