ibis Valence Sud

We were in the annex building which was actually ideal as we could park directly in front of our room door. Packing and unpacking the car was super easy. We arrived at 9pm with kids but managed to get to the onsite restaurant. Very fast service. The pool table in the bar is a nice touch and finished off the evening perfectly. The breakfast buffet is supplementary but we'll worth it. The location near the motorway is ideal. I would like to thank Giustino especially for incredible service.

We were able to check in at 1am late at night, the night manager was very nice and accommodating. The room had everything we needed for a good night rest including A/C and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for an overnight along the highway while on a road trip. Clean and no fuss. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

We were a group of 4 on a cycle trip (via Rhona) and booked for one night as hotel was very close to the route. Staff were very friendly and helpful and found us a space inside the hotel to securely lock up our bikes. Hotel also has a great pool which was well appreciated after a day in the sun.

Never disappoints, been staying at this Ibis for years.....thank you friend!

Welcoming and courteous

ibis is consistently good

I stayed for a single night on a return trip from Spain. It was ok, but nothing more. On my outward trip, I stayed at the Ibis Budget Valance Sud and that is a much better deal. It had the same amenities and only the decor in the breakfast area here was a bit nicer, but the food was not. So I was actually a bit disappointed, since at the higher price I had expected more. Something like a regular desk for a sitting area (instead of a folding chair and what appeared to be a large windowsill) or a fridge.. Mind you, I only stayed for a single night, so there might be facilities I haven't used that justifies the higher price, but for a single nights sleep, go for Ibis Budget instead.

Staff not very friendly prices for drinks extortionate

Very convenient for the motorway. Room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel has a pool but it was too windy for us to venture in. We did not eat here although it seemed popular with other guests. Opposite the hotel is a large Geant which has a good restaurant, La Bonne Heure, which offers set deals with all you can eat buffet starters and also for desert you just pay a set amount for the main course. It is excellent value.

All the staff were very friendly/ excellent. Great location if exploring the Rhône wine region as it’s in the middle of North & South Rhône region. Hotel just off the motorway, so very convenient. Room was clean & nice, v good value for money.

Pretty good stay overall with efficient air con although Wi-Fi not so great. Biggest issue was slightly dodgy area to walk through to and from the town - wouldn't recommend it at night. Close to Geant supermarket with good secure parking.

A warm welcome from staff. The swimming pool was welcoming, if only I had read the hotel details and packed my trunks. Food and drink a cut above the normal for an Ibis. All in all a pleasant stay.

it's the only food choice without driving

Well located and good parking facilities. Wifi was patchy which is frustrating.

The hotel also had a decent restaurant attached so that we didn't need to go out and find one!

Good Ibis hotel, nice restaurant and friendly staff. Usual problem of requesting a ground floor room and then being given one on the top floor.

On the way south, an overnight stop. Easy to find. Convenient for the city centre [a short drive]. We will use it again.
