Kyriad Direct Lyon Nord - Dardilly

Our family room was spacious, clean, with large bathroom with both bath and shower. Beds comfy and we had tea, coffee,kettle, fridge and microwave in our room...great overnight spot with lovely Italian restaurant just out of the driveway...

Two star hotel. Handy stop over just off the motorway north of Lyon. Lots of restaurants close by. Room basic but clean, comfy bed. Recently decorated- plain but simple. Bathroom basic but clean. No extractor fan in the bathroom meant condensation on the outside window with lots of mould hence three stars for cleanliness

Room was generally clean, very basic room, it was super worth the price that we paid! Hair dryer upon request at the concierge, and the concierge was very friendly and nice. Just make sure to figure your way there earlier as bus timings are irregular, but it is 40 mins from the city which is not bad at all!!! Highly recommend.

Not enough parking space

Air conditioning didn't work in the room, which was very hot, so a poor night's rest ahead of a long drive the next day. A more minor thing, the reading light by the bed wasn't working. I complained to reception in the morning but was just told "sorry". The hotel shares reception and eating facilities with the cheaper Premiere Classe hotel, but I hoped that paying more for the Kyriad would mean a better standard of room with things like air conditioning and lights working, but I was disappointed. Is it really necessary to ask as a special request ahead of arriving to have a room with working facilities?

Arrived at 10:30pm after a 15hr drive from the UK. Checked in easily and we were able to park right outside the room. Very spacious, a double and a single bed with loads of room around the beds. Plenty of sockets including USB and USB-C either side of the double bed. Aircon, full sized fridge and microwave included (although didn't use). Spacious bathroom with shower over bath. Security gate and fencing all around the property. If you have an EV, there are Tesla Supercharges within a 5 min walk. Didn't stay for breakfast as we had to get back on the road.

Great service

Room was basic and cheap did have a good fridge but no facility to boil water for drinks or coffee/tea provided. Cannot complain given price but did have a bit of difficulty checking in as they said we had to pay tax and service charge but tax already paid to hotels.com and was just supposed to pay service charge.

Wir haben auf der Durchreise von Deutschland nach Spanien und zurück dort geschlafen. Das Zimmer auf dem Hinweg war ok, das Zimmer auf dem Rückweg roch modrig und hatte Schimmel in der Zimmerecke, im Bad und an den Sockelleisten. Ich bestand an der Rezeption auf ein anderes Zimmer, da wir ein 1 jähriges Kind haben und ich Asthmatiker bin. Dort wurde mir nur gesagt, dass es keine Zimmer gäbe, auch nicht im anderen Hotel, und dass der Schimmel kein Problem wäre. Da es spät war, wir auf die Schnelle online nichts vergleichbares gefunden haben und meine Tochter nach 6.5 std Fahrt endlich geschalfen hat, haben wir die Nacht dort bei geöffnetem Fenster verbracht. Die Antwort vom Hotel auf meine Reklamation war sinngemäß: Der Gast hat die Nacht dort im Zimmer verbracht, geduscht und zwei kleine Bier getrunken. Ferrig, das wars. Keine Erstattung, Entschuldigung oder ähnliches. Ich werde versuchen Bilder vom Zimmer hochzuladen. Persönliches Fazit: unter aller Sau, gesundheitsschädlich, absolut unkooperativ. Wenig Geld für ein einfaches Zimmer ist völlig ok, aber Schinmel und Modergeruch ist ein Nogo und widerspricht absolut dem Beherbergungsvertrag, den man mit einer Buchung automatisch eingeht.

Les poussières n'ont pas été faites depuis des annees : j'ai dû faire moi-même les poussières au-dessus de la tête de lit. Insectes morts dans l'evier de la salle de bains. Moisissures sur un mur et sur les fenêtres.

L'ebergement à répondu à mes attentes. Très correct pour le prix

Le séjour s'est très bien passé.

J’ai réservé une chambre pour 4 au Kyriad de Dardilly. Arrivée à 22h, j’ai eu la surprise de me voir attribuer une chambre pour 3 qui ne sentait pas le propre (pour ne pas dire que ça sentait les pieds). Retour à la réception. On nous change de chambre. Cette fois-ci, la nouvelle chambre qu’on nous attribue était déjà occupée. C’est toujours sympa d’entrer dans la chambre d’une famille inconnue qui s’apprête à se coucher. Retour à la réception. On nous change de nouveau de chambre. Magnifique. Cette fois, c’est une chambre pour 4. Sauf qu’il n’y a que 3 lits faits et qu’il n’y a pas de draps pour faire le 4e lit. Retour à la réception. Il est 23h. Je demande simplement un drap que personne n’est en mesure de me fournir. On a donc dormi à 3 dans un lit double. Expérience unique.

Nuit étape, très bon accueil, très belle chambre et belle salle de bain. J’y retournerai certainement !

Je suis arrivé a minuit apres avoir tourné pendant plus d une heure car les routes etaient fermees et l hotel inaccessible. Aucune information pour avertir de ces travaux de nuit. Ce fut une tres mauvaise experience.
