Le Mas des Ecureuils

The property is in a beautiful natural setting, but it is extremely run-down and the owners are unhelpful.

I had a fantastic time at the Mas Des Ecureuils. The staff was super friendly. The owner was kind, friendly, and always ready to help with any type of concern or question. I enjoyed the location, very private and quiet. The pool was a plus. I would recommend this place without any hesitation. Thank you Olivia for your hospitality! Patricia.

This is a beautiful little getaway, a great find. We were three in a room, very comfortable, clean; bathroom was nice, television was combined with internet and worked great. The only reason I can't give it a complete "5" is for two things: 1)we were pressed to check in before 8 p.m. because the receptionist wanted to leave for the day. We would have preferred a little later check in; and 2) there was unfortunately a dead mouse odor in the tower building lobby - I'm guessing it died in a wall somewhere and was not accessible. But this place is located in a beautiful forest-like setting so mice, rabbits, deer, etc should be expected. Room itself was very clean and very well furnished. I will definitely come back again and can easily recommend it to others.

lovely little place with a tasty little restaurant, in the hills outside aix. "family" room was good value for 4 beds (but wouldn't want to stay there with a full family long). host extremely friendly and helpful. foosball and pingpong.

At first I thought we were too far from Aix, but the beautiful, peaceful surroundings created a new dimension to our visit.

This is a lovely little French hotel that is nice for families for those who are driving and want to explore the region. It is several miles from Aix-en-Provence, so you will not want to stay here if you are arriving in the area without a car. But the staff is nice, helpful, and the overall effect of the place is charming. There is nothing really around the hotel but a giant Carreforre is about a mile away. Most guests stay and eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Be warned, everything is in French and the waiter may not be able to translate the menu, but the food is good and they really accommodated my two kids.

Lovely friendly little hotel sitting quietly in the woods above Les Milles village. Staff very helpful and English spoken. We had a room with balcony. Although provencal décor room & bathroom slightly dated with poor lighting. Amenities good.

Beautiful nature setting 5 minutes from Aix en Provence Personal service from very friendly host Fabulous large swimming pool set amongst trees and nature , property is down a charming country lane and you feel away from the busy city , yet close in Room was perfect with large bath and comfortable bed

We enjoyed the hotel very much. The location is great: out of Aix, in a rural and pastoral neighborhood, but very close to town. There is a need to put more elaborating signs to direct the root to the hotel. We know that the hotel's management is taking care after this and soon it will be done. We spent four nights in a superior room and we could have stayed more if we had the time.

everything about the hotel and staff were exactly as I'd imagined and hoped for. beautiful, quiet location. friendly staff. my stay was really enjoyable!

A EVITER ! rapport qualité prix très excessif. Des chambres sans insonorisation, une literie à moderniser, restauration simple et personnel gentil mais débordé (chambre attribuée à plusieurs clients...) L'établissement se dit de standing, on en est bien loin à tous points de vue !

On ne découvre sur place que les chambres sont éparpillées sur un grand domaine bien vallonné. Après avoir porté ma valise en haut à l'accueil, j'ai appris que ma chambre était tout en bas. Pas de chance. Et pour le resto et le petit dej c'est tout en haut... Je rentre dans la chambre dans laquelle un bruit continu d'écoulement d'eau persiste. Surprise nr2 ... Bricoleur, je purge ce radiateur, le bruit disparait. Il fait froid dans la salle de bain, j'ouvre le radiateur et à nouveau un bruit similaire d'écoulement d'eau (purge nr2 sans succès..). J'ai besoin de rédiger sur le bureau d'1m x 50cm,mais un coffre-fort y est placé ainsi qu'un plateau pour le café et la bouilloire. Je ne peux que les mettre à terre pour avoir de la place, pas d'armoire dans cette chambre... Et la surprise nr3, le coffre-fort se met à sonner. Tournevis, la porte est ouverte, je débranche les piles (silence, enfin...), et je retrouve le bruit d'écoulement d'eau dans la salle de bain. Ça reste bien perceptible... même porte fermée. Faisons une pause, je monte manger. La serveuse est sympa. Je choisi le menu du jour, soupe de choux-fleurs, tagliatelles au saumon et crumble en dessert. Mais surprise nr4, ça manque vraiment de peps. Mon attention est attirée par une cliente qui a pris le même plat, la serveuse le ramène en cuisine, assiette pleine... Alors oui, le confort y est dans cet établissement, les gens sont courtois et sympathiques. Je n'ai pas mal dormi... et je n'ai pas tenté le petit dèj...
