Great stay at Attalos. Right in the heart of the shopping and restaurant districts and close to the Acropolis. Rooftop access with view of the Parthenon was the highlight. Nice Greek breakfast provided and the staff was friendly and offered maps and tours to assist travelers.

I researched this hotel within a week of flying and I hit the jackpot. The location is excellent with access to the local train; 2 blocks, and the local square with a multitude of restaurants and shops. I was able to check in early after a long flight. My room served the purpose for a 3 night stay; very clean, accommodating, and sizeable. The entire staff at the hotel were very nice and assisted when necessary; special thank you to Nicholas; front desk and; sorry, I forgot your name, the bartender at the rooftop bar. I did not have the breakfast. The rooftop bar was a bonus on its own with reasonably priced drinks and a view you will never forget. I am a mature female that traveled alone and felt very safe at the hotel and surrounding area. Of course you need to use common sense as in any big city. I highly recommend this property on your trip to Greece.💙

Excellent location, just a couple of minutes from Syntagma Square. Helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent roof terrace with view of the Parthenon. Room was simple but good value. Recommended.

Very good breakfast. Great variety of foods. Good spanakopita, watermelon, dolmas, Perfect selection! Staff was amazingly helpful. Nice location between shopping district and the Square. Music upstairs in the bar is bad and hard to get away from. Not a peaceful evening spot, tho the bartender is wonderful and the view is nice.

We had a wonderful stay here. Location as convenient by all the shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even helped order us a taxi for our departure early next morning. Also had a great view of the Acropolis from our room. We will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel is perfectly positioned near all the things a visitor would need. A short walk to Syntagma Square, the Acropolis, and almost next door to Monastiraki Square. A Sklavenitis supermarket is also a short walk away, to restock your provisions. All staff was kind, and considerate. The breakfast was always plentiful, varied, and filling. The perfect start to your day. We booked a standard room, which was clean and compact. The beds were comfy, the bathroom clean, and the AC was cold. The rooftop is an amazing place to unwind at the end of your day. Up until 4:00pm you can bring your own drinks and snacks, but from 4:00-midnight ONLY items from the bar are allowed. We brought beer up, to enjoy while relaxing up there and the bartender was polite, but firm. He said we couldn’t bring “those” up after 4:00pm. He indicated the beer, so assuming the beer opposed his liquor sales we brought soft drinks the next day. He was borderline rude, “I told you yesterday!”. Yeah, nah. If you had said no food or drink after 4:00pm we would have understood. Indicating the beer on the table rather than explicitly saying what was and wasn’t allowed was confusing. Getting mad at us, because you failed to properly explain is on you, not us. Maybe a language barrier? Now we know! We either bought some beer from the bar, or other times we just went up there after consuming a libation in our room. Would absolutely stay here again though. In fact we will be in about 4 weeks.

Surprising great hotel for a good price. Location is perfect - close to historical sites and nearly on the subway line. Amazing view from the rooftop garden/bar, helpful staff, and a great breakfast.
