We asked for a quiet room and even though the hotel didn't reply, we were put in very quiet room. The only thing I would change would be to have a mattress protector under the sheet and a bigger top sheet and blanket as it was a bit small. The room was immaculate.

Hotel Esperides is a lovely quiet hotel on the main road just across from the road into Myrtos, a quiet tourist town on the southern coast of Crete. Wonderful breakfast for 9 euros per person, with large assortment of foods. Small elevator available. Very accommodating when we arrived early from the ferry to Heraklion, Crete; we were able to purchase breakfast even before check in, and they got 2 rooms ready for us an hour or so before their usual check in time. Also arranged taxi back to Heraklion for us for the day we left. Easy walk into Myrtos and to the beach. Free parking for those who had cars. Mostly European tourists; lots of families. Would definitely stay there again.

Beds & pillows were comfy. Hotel was quiet. Check in desk stayed open until midnight when I arrived and was very kind on the phone and in person... even at midnight! Upper front rooms have balcony and slight view of ocean. Toilet was leaking, hotel is a little old, but the property is kept up very nicely. Five-minute walk to village & beach. Amazing hotel for the price of $44! Didn't use shower or pool and didn't eat breakfast--only stayed one night. Hotel is a 1-1/2 hour drive from HER airport on a steep winding road.

Very nice place! Excellent value. Some wear around the edges, but well cared for and great service. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool and public areas were good. Breakfast bar was delicious with many options. Close walk to beach and main town area, but far enough away to avoid the crowd if you wanted. Great value for the price!

Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Great breakfast and was very impressed that the cook said she would have catered more for vegans had she known that we required that. Only drawback is that rooms with seaview are opposite the local rubbish and recycling collection which happens about 7.30 every morning.

Mirtos is probably my favourite village in Crete providing a fantastic balance of beach, tavernas/nightlife, scenery and walking. The fact that Esperides is in this village makes it an attractive and good value choice with friendly staff, great location, swimming pool etc.. However, the sound levels experienced in the rooms severely detract from it's location advantage. The walls and doors/windows are very poorly soudproofed. Noise from barking dogs, traffic, inconsiderate guests and internal machinery/services penetrate the room 24hrs a day making it very difficult to sleep at all. Would not recommend this hotel unless you are an insomniac or deaf.

We just came back from a 2 weeks holiday and we can honestly say that we had a fantastic time. The location of the hotel is perfect as it's very close to the sea, tavernas and all the amenities that you need. It's a family run hotel with excellent service. All of the staff are helpful, polite and they can't do enough to make you feel welcome. Thank you all for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Myrtos is lovely - this hotel was handy to beach, town, walks - staff/owners were very nice - food was great - good spot for families and couples (if you are looking for Malia you are on the wrong side of the island) Very highly recommended, hope to return next year.

Our stay at Hotel Esperides was great. It is a family run hotel which has really everything you need, and the greatest service. Once we arrived and checked in, we asked the gentleman at the front desk if there was a laundry facility near the town, he proceeded to ask his mother who offered to wash our one month worth of washing for two people herself. She even returned the clothes all neatly folded and dress shirts on hangers! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. There is a continental breakfast in the morning which also included hard boiled eggs, cold-cuts and cheese which is great. There is a fully stocked bar near the reception as well as a pool bar, there is even an espresso machine! They do not have a restaurant, however they can make you sandwiches (which are called toast "tost") as well as an assortment of sodas, juices and waters and 3 flavors of ice creams (chocolate,strawberry,vanilla). The rooms are cleaned daily which is fantastic, the rooms also have a fridge which is extremely convenient for all the cold water you will need to consume and maybe some left overs. The bathrooms are a decent size. All in all, our stay at Esperides was great, welcoming and in a convenient location close to the town of Myrtos and only a 10 minute drive from the large town of Ierapetra! AMAZING!

Bis auf die Servicekraft für die Zimmerreinigung unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Anonymität wird hier groß geschrieben. Das Hotel müsste renoviert werden. Zum Schlafen und frühstücken reicht es. Ansonsten hat ein Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft nichts mit einem Hotelurlaub gemein.
