Like the name says this is a mountain resort. You will have a very windy Road up the mountain to the resort, but the drive is worth it. Great views. Our stay was in October and we were one of two couples at the resort so very quiet. The restaurant was not open when we got to the Resort. We didn’t expect to have a meal there. We were able to have a few glasses of wine in the bar before it closed at nine and the gentleman that worked that night was very helpful. The morning breakfast was very nice. Homemade jams and Marmalades. It was a little cool to use the pool, but it looked very nice. I think it would be a great place to go in the summertime for a relaxing holiday.

Hôtel assez retiré mais quand on arrive c’est vraiment très bien… belle vue sur les montagnes… grande chambre… nous avons souper sur place et c’était vraiment bon…. Nous avons aussi eu un super bon déjeuner… j’y retournerais assurément…

Great night, had to leave early in the morning before breakfast at 8:30 which was too late for us to enjoy. There was no service in the evening at the bar.

Ilaeria Resort is a gem located I the mountains. Awe striking views from everywhere including their refreshing pool.
Their complimentary breakfast is a perfect way to start the day.
Poolside cafe fulfills your daytime food and libation needs.
The onsite restaurant has very tasty local cuisine.
Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in the area.
Our stay was the second week of July 2024.

Absolutely amazing getaway. Total serenity in the mountains with the absolute best service. We can’t stop talking about how lucky we are to experience this. The breakfast was phenomenal, the pool is to die for and Olga and the team are simply the best. Can’t wait to come back

Its in a beautiful area overlooking whole valley including sparta. Restraunt was good, staff very friendly. Wifi was good for most of the trip, but did its moments where given numbet of ppl it would drop. Very quite at night, good trails for hiking too.

The resort is a real diamond of the Greek Tourism Industry! Located in the forest of Taygetos, offers great view to the Lakonian Lowlands & a great sense of tranquility. So much different from what we have mostly seen so far. The natural shadow from clusters of coniferous trees & firs, makes the sun friendly. The mountain breeze allows for lovely sleeping, “air-condition free”. Wood, stone & green woods, form the trademark of the resort, all very well-combined in its architecture. The swimming pool under the trees, makes swimming & sunbathing a ritual. All buildings’ style, fully harmonized with the scenery, emphasizes the beauty of the surroundings. The rooms are spacious, minimally decorated & still very chic. Every detail in the room – even the cupboards’ knobs – is tastefully selected, fitting perfectly with the landscape. All indoor & outdoor areas are clean & tidy. The food is excellent, cooked with taste. But the greatest asset of this resort is the people working there. All the personnel vitalizes the magnificence of the place, making it so different & cozy. Without exception, everybody was particularly polite & professional, dedicated to make every guest feel comfortable & relaxed. Always smiling, even after long working hours, demonstrating that they love to offer rather than being obliged to do so- a rare merit elsewhere-. Ilaeira’s people make the place different &mythical. If you are looking for a mountain resort to hike, enjoy nature, or just relax around the pool you would be hard pressed to find a better place with nicer staff. This hotel has set the bar high when it comes to cleanliness and the welcoming and friendly nature of the staff. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city
