Brilliant. Highly recommended. So good that when our Naxos hotel let our holiday down we returned here swapping 2 days. Staff were top class.

Lovely hotel with ample room space. Pool area and pool bar highly recommended. Easy walking distance to vast array of restaurants and beach close. Staff excellent. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff on the ball keeping area clean and stocked up.

We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the front desk staff were friendly and made all our local shuttle bookings. The breakfast was excellent, great selection of hot and cold items. 5 minutes to the local beach in Kamari and lots of nice restaurants to visit. Downside was that the pool and bar area were not open until 10am and closed by 7pm so no early morning swim if you like that sort of thing, or a nightcap before bedtime. Otherwise a great place to stay for a short trip to Santorini, the airport is close by but the ferry port is on the other side of the island (if you come in that way). We would stay here again.

Hotel poolside and all areas are immaculately well kept. The staff down to the cleaners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with lots of different choices of local and continental foods. The rooms were a very good size with really good showers..the views of the pool and sea in the backround from ours was amazing. The Rivari is set in a very quiet relaxing location it is only a 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants and kamari beach. This is rated a 3 star but it exceeds many 4 star places. If you're looking for a calm place to relax i highly recommend the Rivari. I dont often say i'd return to the same place but if i went back to santorini this would be high on my list. This is real Greek hospitality at its best.

Stayed with family for 4 nights. Very good overall. Pros: Nice and quiet environment. Clean rooms and surrounding. Daily housekeeping and towel replacement. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Cons: No tea/coffee/water provided with kettle. Conditioner provided but no shampoo.

Friendly environment

Nice little place in walking distance to Kamari beach and tons of restaurants. We felt safe walking after dark from the beach to the hotel.

Good location close to the Kamari beach. Hotel doesn’t provide a kettle in the room which was a bit annoying you had to go to the breakfast room to get a coffee, which your not allowed to take back to your rooms.

The staff is really helpful and kind. It is important to note that the water in the taps is salty, originating from sea water. We had to stock up on drinking bottles . The breakfast is not very rich. The meals at the pool bar are excellent. We had a serious leak in the room, from sewers.We didnt received any compensation or even an offer for a compensation.

It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but still worth the stay and walk. We usually stopped at the supermarket which is halfway. Staff is awesome from check in to cleaning ladies. Hotel us always spotless in the rooms and hallways included. Breakfast was a bonus for us I was not aware it was included. This family obviously cares about their visitors.

Just incredible. Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff. The pool area is fantastic, the food terrific. Spiros and Theodore took care of us and made sure we had a relaxing enjoyable stay. The location is a 10 minute walk from the beach. Far from the hustle bustle of tourist nightlife. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Will be going back with my brother the end of September - I just loved it SO much. Charlie

The pros-clean room, fluffy towels, large bathroom, stocked with essentials. A variety of foods and beverages at breakfast.Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Set up our car transfers and gave us an extra key card to charhe work computer when out of room. Landscaping was beautiful and well maintained. Pathways and patio swept daily. Pool area had sunbeds, a large shallow end but hot tub was same temp as pool. Pool bar has the friendliest staff who was awesome with the guests, especially w/the kids. He made the hotel stay a pleasure! Cons-there are pool hours from 10 to 7. So basically it opens when you leave for a tour and closes by the time you return (or sooner during our stay). Manager- One morning, at breakfast, we packed up 5 sandwiches to go. Instead of the manager saying, our policy is to not remove food from dining hall so going forward please don't do this again. He says that food is to only be eaten in the dining all and never to be removed. That he is not a supermarket, that there will not be enough food for other guests and that I should read the policy. Explained that during our 5 day stay this was the only time we removed food. That the food is not stolen, it was paid for and that it would be a shame for it to go to waste, which it did. I suggested he post the pool and food policy online so people can decide whether to book here. No outlet in bathroom, or overhead lighting. Had me carry an ironing board from reception.  Too many cons to book here again.

This hotel is excellent. Perfect grounds, 5 minute walk to beach and all the restaurants, 10 minute walk to bus stop to Oia. This hotel is in a beach town Kamari. Take bus to Fira and another bus to Oia to see the famous blue dome churches. Beautiful pool at the hotel. Very good breakfast. Hotel is perfect.

Hidden gem. Away from busy tourist areas, but within a ten minute walk to the most beautiful black sand beach lined with literally more than a hundred outdoor restaurants. The hotel property is very elegant with a nice pool and friendly staff. The only thing I would want you to know is that all the water in your room is salt water.

This is the 4th and last hotel we stayed in our trip, we have been hotel hopping before and after our wedding. Theona is lovely, she looked after us really well. She even welcomed us with a complementary bottle of wine in our room with a note for us that is so sweet. She even gave us a little tote bag, fridge magnet and pencils for the girls to remember them by. Spyros the bar man is amazing too, while waiting for our room, he ensured we are well hydrated coz it was really hot, unlimited water even made us iced coffee and lemonade for the girls. Hotel is 5min walk to the beach. We have rented a car as we travel around the island. Room is clean and staff are friendly. Buffet breakfast is available with a strict measures to protect everyone from Covid. I just there is more hot food breakfast option but otherwise it was good. The pool is clean.

I was part of a large group of people who travelled to the Rivari for a wedding on the Island. From arrival, we were treated with the utmost care and respect. The staff here are fantastic, and can’t do enough for you, there was even assistance when we required safety pins for our flowers on our suits! The hotel, although basic, is well maintained and clean throughout, and although the included breakfast is limited, the food served at the pool bar is delicious and plentiful - I highly recommend the pizzas, the gyros and the club sandwich! Thanks again to all the staff at the Rivari for an incredible time.
