The Harbourview - Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

The view from my room was awesome!

Room to small bathroom very very small I make a mistake to book this hotel only good was the view .

Initial contact with lady receptionist was rude and awkward. Given a room with no view at all, windows facing backwalls and air-conditioning of 2 other buildings and the sounds echoing just overwhelmingly noisy! No offer of upgrade. Only after we insist on an upgrade and be willing to pay for the upgrade for a harbourview then only a different receptionist ( the manager? ) was willing to accommodate us. We paid plenty for the upgrade ie a beautiful view of the harbour which was advertised in Expedia. My 2nd complaint is the housekeeping which says in their room notices that they are happy to change the bedsheets upon request. Some of the housekeepers were not happy with my daily request. They did change the bedsheets, but grudgingly. I left no tips for them. Unlike the housekeepers in Hilton Guangzhou and Shenzen China, they were great and changed the bedsheets daily regardless. No fuss at all! 3rd complaint-- the morning buffett, food varieties, quality, taste and quantity, all need improving. 4th complaint-- the room is too small for the price we paid. However, the view of the harbour is priceless! The only part of my stay that I will give a 5 stars for the view.

Impeccable handling of check-in, spotless and spacious room, very comfortable for Hong Kong … an excellent stay except for the fact that I could not turn on heating on the air conditioner - no such function available! And it was COLD.

Room, staff and all the amenities are absolutely perfect, very clean and well manteind. DO NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE !! Price is a lot lower when you book day before and plenty of rooms available even in peak time. Paid nearly double with 1 year before stay,.

Very quiet, clean room, super friendly staff. Almost everything was great and super close to high speed train and bus station easy to get around.

Great location with Wan Chai Station less than 10 mins walk away. Good value. Small rooms but they felt premium inside. Highly recommend

The hotel is a little old, with water stains in the bathroom. Cleaners’ daily job is a good. Buffet breakfast is alright. The breathtaking ocean view on level 15 tops it all.

The room is clean and well kept, and the staff are courteous and well mannered. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Brilliant place to stay for Central Hong Kong. Breakfast excellent.

Not bad for the price. Walking distance to a ferry station, harbor, shopping mall, restaurants, exhibition center, transportation, MTR and bus station. Many shops nearby. Breakfast buffet is good with many choices. No swimming pool, though.

This hotel is in a great quite location across from Victoria Harbour, but not far to the hustled bustle of Hong Kong. We had the Harbour view from the 21st floor, totally amazing, breakfast was very good along with good staff and customer service,

The room, staff and the location were all very good

Very well located property near the mtr and dining options. The room I stayed in seemed newly renovated and very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient during check in and check out.
