Great location for exploring

Lovely staff, excellent space for price, such a smooth and helpful experience. Would stay again! Some curtains for the front door would be great in future, but it was so quiet that it didn't really matter. Thanks!

Self check in and check out of an apartment in a cute little courtyard on a street with tons of shopping and restaurants. Very close to the river and walking distance to many things. Two separate queen beds (though not the most comfortable), one and a half baths, a small kitchen area with washer.

Great location, good sized studio apartment with very good shower. Could have done with reading lamps by the bed. Breakfast was minimal but friendly service.

Phenomenal location, lovely apartment. Nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Would recommend to others. And if ever back in Budapest, I know where I will stay!

Amazing apartment I have stayed at 3 times in the last 2 years with everything we needed. however please note there is NO ELEVATOR and there are many stairs, some of which are slippery and a hazard for older adults or lots of luggage. This should be clearly noted. We stayed in 212, which would seam to be the 2nd floor but is on the 3rd floor. I would recommend better lighting and better grip on the actual stairs, as I slipped once. The location is perfect on a beautiful street with convenient transportation and so many restaurants and shops

Very modern , great a/c for the very hot climate when we were there.

Compact but 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom. WiFi was good. Location was excellent. Don't like the stairs for going to the bedroom. Lights were so dull.

Lovely location, staff and accommodations. We enjoyed our stay. Nice amenities also including waging machine, mini kitchen and fridge.

Definitely will rebook this place when coming back to Budapest next time.

good restaurant nearby

I'm not sure of whoes fault it was, but I didn't know my room number and how to check in and out. To check out, I contacted with a staff member by e-mail and could get a password for a safety box and return the key. Because other visitors seemed to know, it might be my fault or lack of instruction.

Such a wonderful place...there's kitchenette also where I have the option to prepare simple meals or even heat up food.. Awesome staff!! Everyone was so warm and friendly.. Will surely stay again if I am.back Tq so much

Lovely modern apartment, set in a wonderful ancient buulding, located in the city centre. A free breakfast is provided in the restaurant next door, which is fronted by a friendly, helpful young lady who speaks perfect English. Couldn't have asked for more from a reasonably priced week's stay in Budapest.

The apartment was fantastic, so was the staff we met. If we had to find fault all we could say was that the stairs leading to floor 1 needed some extra lighting. Otherwise, will highly recommend.😀

Convenient location, extra spotless clean room, beautiful interior and snug 2nd floor of the suite make up a great property! The beds were so comfortable as well

The building is old and shows it, but the room is quite efficient and outside noise minimal. Noisy neighbors were on the same floor, though. Some past reviews are critical of the breakfast, but we found it to be fine—one ought not expect the Ritz at a budget-friendly lodging! The young lady working at breakfast is delightful, competent, and speaks English well. We would stay here again.

Great location Very walkable Close to train and tram No instructions for check in or check out, but very responsive by telephone call Breakfast was awful, it's at the pizza restaurant downstairs. Eggs were sweet for some reason. They had hot dogs, slices of cheese and meats Reception is only there from 10am-3pm on weekdays so be aware if you're trying to store luggage or check in at odd hours

The location is excellent. The room (we have a 1-bedroom loft) is spacious and very clean. There is a washing machine in our unit and detergent was provided. We enjoyed our stay at La Fortezza Panzió. However, it may be a challenge for people who have mobility issues as there are a number of stairways.
