The property is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and kind. Accommodations are clean and stocked. Enjoyed reading the custom booklet about the history of the property and the surrounding area as well as learning about local attractions. Appreciated the complementary sweets. Appreciated the room servicing, which made sure everything was clean during our stay. Highly recommend staying at the Haytower cottage. It is very charming!

I had an incredible experience at this amazing place in Iceland! The location is perfect for exploring all the beautiful sights in the area, making it easy to discover everything from stunning waterfalls to scenic landscapes. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed and equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay.
Anna and her family were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout my visit, ensuring I had everything I needed. Their hospitality truly made my stay special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in Iceland

The Garage was absolutely lovely. I can't say enough nice things about our stay, the property was clean, unique, quaint, beautiful, and comfortable with gorgeous views. They communicated well prior to our arrival and were kind and helpful during our stay, even provided us a boot dryer to use which was so appreciated. I would recommend The Garage without hesitation to anyone. It's location is also a great spot to adventure from daily to enjoy all the beautiful sights of south Iceland. Don't miss out on making your vacation in Iceland a little more enjoyable by staying at the Garage.

The Garage is set in a beautiful property with convenient location and wonderful friendly hosts. Staying here was one of the high points of our trip! There are walkable trails to see the waterfall, and a great location for visiting key attractions. We hope to come back, and we'll stay longer next time!!!

We LOVED our stay here! Every detail of the property is so thoughtfully curated and it’s clear to see how much heart went into creating it. The hosts are kind, helpful and welcoming. Our only regret was not staying here longer!

The best possible place! And they make daily baked goods to share which is the icing on the cake. Ideally locate for everything you want to see between golden circle and Vik. Would absolutely come here again!!

I cannot recommend this enough! Beautiful spacious and clean room! Cooking facilities in the room was more than sufficient. The bedroom and bathroom fixtures/furniture were of high quality. Check in was super smooth - Anna made it super easy to check in after hours.
When we arrived, she had even baked some treats which were delicious! The hot tub was such a nice touch - cool air, perfect unobstructed view of the night sky and the warm water - so dreamy. Location was great as well, we went to the diamond beach and back all within the same daylight. We loved our stay. Thank you!

A really fun little property with interesting history. Amazing location and views, everything we needed with the added bonus of a communal sitting/cooking area in reception. Anna made the most delicious cake and it was lovely to have face to face contact rather than self check-in. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

We absolutely loved the Garage! The surroundings were gorgeous, and it very easy to find. The property itself was spacious, spotless, well equipped and lovely as well!
Check in was easy, and Anna, Siggi and Einar were very helpful both at check in and prior to arriving, sending detailed and helpful instructions.
I would warn that this is quite remote, so it isn’t too close to supermarkets. However, this is made very clear in the check in instructions and as such we were well prepared.
What made this property really stand out and make this perfect was the little extras that made us feel valued and well looked after. For instance the access to a central kitchen with extra cooking supplies if we needed them, homemade cakes for us to help ourselves to, a funny and informative welcome booklet and access to a hot tub in the most beautiful of surroundings (although we didn’t use this).
After our experience here, we were sad that we only booked to stay one night and would definitely come back if we visit Iceland again.

The property is an easy access to the main road. It is full of nature, behind the property is a stream and waterfalls, very picturesque. Checking in and out was easy, plenty of parking and hot tub until late night. Very nice clean studio with kitchen amenities. Anna our host is very friendly and bake goods available for free, also we were greeted by two fur friends upon arrival. Great choice!

We made last-minute reservations and loved this charming property. We had excellent communication with our hosts prior to checking in and excellent service once we arrived. Even got a piece of fresh apple cake! We stayed in the Haytower and it was absolutely wonderful, even down to having the northern lights on display. It was by far the best bathroom we’re had all trip.

We had a very nice stay here. Beautiful property. It’s decorated with kind of a grunge look but it’s still nice and clean. They have 2 cute doggies, one of which came right up to my car door to greet me when I opened it. We also got to see the Northern lights here (thank God) which was so cool and beautiful.
