Hotel Bright

TRAVELERS BEWARE: This hotel works with a shady private tour operator to scam unwitting tourists. Expect to be greatly overcharged for airport transport, money exchange, and of course actual tours. If you stay here, stay far away from any offers of "help" during your visit. As for the hotel itself, you'll be shocked when you see how run-down it is. It is in a convenient location, but it's a second-story walkup on a dirty street, just through a dilapidated hallway filled with rubbish. The rooms appear good in the photos, but in reality they are damp. The sheets were wet and dirty. I suppose you get what you pay for, but don't expect anything more.

I left after first morning due to bed bugs.

Sketchy entrance that’s hard to find, then two flights of steep chipped marble stairs. Housekeeping sloppy - I had to ask the desk for toilet paper on two separate occasions. Tiny bottles of shower gel and shampoo that weren’t replaced until completely empty. I spilled something on the luggage strip at the end of the bed and they neither washed nor replaced it. Primary desk clerk was nice enough but his assistant always seemed angry about something. Don’t waste your money on Hotel Bright. My room looked nothing like the Expedia picture - it was tiny. A very disappointing experience. You can do much better in Delhi.

Excellent location; safe; comfortable; very clean hotel room and interiors. The entrance is weird where you walk up a narrow flight of stairs in between shops in Connaught Place to the 2nd floor for the actual entrance to the hotel. Once inside though, the interiors are good quality. I had to make multiple phone calls to get the extra bed in our room mistakenly reserved as a single kind bed room. Ultimately it did get setup the way we wanted before we arrived; but the hassle of not knowing until the end and multiple calls took a star off customer service. Rest all good.

Inside cleanliness is good . But ventilation and day light is missing Good staff Limited breakfast for the amount that I pad

The hotel is extremely well located, very central and has good metro connections. The area can be quite rough for tourists and dirty if you want a clean environment select the suburbs rather than downtown. There are plenty of places to eat around. The entrance to the hotel is a bit weird but once in the hotel all fine, we felt safe and comfortable. The room was Clean and good bathroom for local standards. The noise from the street was not bothering. We had breakfast included and unfortunately the staff didn’t inform us for the first night so ask. The breakfast are good and nice variety.

The staff goes above & beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. They are very attentive & helpful. My only complaint is that walls are paper thin & you can hear every sound coming from the street, people in the hotel & the bars/stores next door Great location though

Friendly staff, breakfast was served on time to my room Long showers flood the curb There seems to be clubs nearby playing loud music but quiets down around 23:00

Nice place to stay, excellent customer service. 24 hrs desk service. The entrance looks like it’s a old Building but once you get in, the place is nice and clean.

Good location, nice clean room and bathroom, tasty breakfast. Excellent service. Was noisy till late night because of the club next door

The property itself was great, however we had to enter through another property that seemed to be abandoned, which was odd.

All as expected. In this price, I don’t think we can accept more.

Nothing about rthis place pleases me except the staff was friendly and the location was convenient. But there are other hotels in the area that are a better choice

Overall it was a decent stay. The breakfast was served in the morning to your room which was a different and first time experience. The shower knob needs replacing as it was difficult to keep the shower running. The towels looked worn out and old. As I have several devices, it was a bit challenging to charge them when only one outlet worked. I was really surprised to see the electrical outlet or port required the two prong adapter (used in some Asian countries) instead of the 3 prong UK one. Also, I ended up buying a thicker electrical cord with an adapter in order to charge my MacBook Pro. I may never use this cord again. WiFi strength and consistency was decent. The music from a nearby bar did not bother me in the Night but I could see it being an issue for many. The service for additional supplies was excellent.

Staff lovely, room both nicely decorated and clean, location central. But entrance is horrible, there’s a night club next door and there’s a slight smell of drains. Mixed experience and not a cheap option.

Very well located in the outer circle of Connaught Place this hotel has recently been fully renovated and the result is delightful. Brand new and clean it is on the first floor of M block. Easy to get to from Rajiv Chowk metro and New Delhi station. Walking distance to all of CP and Janpath. The staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly. Nothing is a bother. Bathroom clean and showers good. It is a lovely space. There is only one drawback you must consider. It is literally right on top of a bar/nightclub that has music from early afternoon to 1am exactly. I was OK with earplugs and my friends with me also managed but if you are a light sleeper or can't do earplugs or noise cancelling headphones I think you might have to look elsewhere.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located near the metro station. We could do the check in at 4 am. We highly recommend this hotel !

Staff and service excellent. Room is a little small but perfectly adequate. Very clean all round. Bathroom and facilities were good. Breakfast was decent. Only thing is at night there was music playing nearby quite late so not so easy to sleep if you are a light sleeper. In our room there was no window which we would have preferred. A decent hotel for a very fair price.
