My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Amaranta Prambanan. It was a very pleasant and memorable experience. The location is quite far from the city center, so in our opinion, this place is more suitable for a staycation. The hotel facilities and activities are very complete, and upon arrival, we were given a list of things we could do, which was really helpful. We were taken to our room by buggy car, and the staff were incredibly fast, helpful, and friendly. All of the staff we met were very warm and welcoming. The room was AMAZING and VERY SPACIOUS, easily suitable for 3 to 4 people. The balcony view was beautiful, overlooking Prambanan Temple, rice fields, Mount Merapi, and even passing trains. Unfortunately, when we visited, Mount Merapi was covered by fog, but the view was still stunning. Parking was easy and convenient. The overall view and atmosphere were very comfortable and peaceful. However, for a hotel at this level, the amenities were still quite standard and could be improved. One thing we really appreciated was the interior design, it truly reflects and respects the local culture, which made the stay feel even more special. For breakfast, in my opinion, it was so-so. The variety was quite good, but many of the flavors could still be improved. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The only thing to note is that the road to the hotel is quite steep, dark, and winding, so it’s better for experienced drivers. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a peaceful and scenic staycation near Prambanan.

The hotel has the best view, although it's a bit tricky to access, especially if using public transportation. It's well worth it for the views and the friendliness of the entire staff. Absolutely love Hotel Amaranta Prambanan.
