What I like most is the view from my bedroom balcony. Overall everything is beautiful. But I'm slightly annoyed because the pool and playground is too far away, they're located in the separated building from the hotel so you need take a long route to go there. But it was beautiful. So counted the long walk as exercise.

In support of fighting against COVID-19 Amartahills Hotel and Resort will apply strict health and medical procedure such as: ===================== 1. Swimming Pool & Gym open from 06.00am - 10.00am and 14.00 pm - 18.00 pm (weekday) 06.00am - 17.00 (weekend). Hotel unable to provide any pool towels for guests due to health protocol, and guest not allowed to use room towels. 2. Breakfast will be served in room, upon varies of menu selection. 3. Wearing a mask is mandatory for every guest who staying and visiting our hotel. 4. Every guest is required to regularly and cautiously wash hands / apply sanitizer. 5. Every guest is required to pass several health protocols. 6. Guest who can enter hotel area must have these criteria: a. Body temperature is under 37.3 C b. Not showing any symptoms like dry cough, chest pain / pressure, breathing difficulties, etc. 7. Every guest is required to provide complete and truthful information about health, personal identification, and travel history. 8. Guests need to fill in our registration form with actual data, including the number of guests, age, name, and other booking and staying detail. 9. Body temperature will be checked everyday, for all guest, when entering public places like restaurant or cafe. 10. Hotel will not provide any prayer equipments like: sajadah, mukena, etc. 11. Guests are required to obey all Health procedures and protocols. 12. Guests are encouraged to bring a medical certificate in the form of a PCR test and a swab test, for guests who come from areas affected covid-19.

It's so-so. The hotel isn't as clean as it used to be 2-3 years ago. Building maintenance isn't particularly well-maintained.
Service is also slow. I had to call reception three times to borrow an iron, and it only took an hour for the receptionist to arrive. I was in a hurry to get to a wedding, so I was late.

The nightlight was out, and the door connecting to the balcony wouldn't lock.
I stayed in room 3105. The front door was also broken and wouldn't lock. I couldn't sleep because none of the doors would lock.
Why not fix it? Staying here isn't cheap.

The condition of the elevator at that time smelled of dead rats from the time we arrived until we left, the smell was still there, apart from that, the room needed to be reconditioned because many of the bathroom doors were rotten.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, last time I went to Amartha in 2019 and there are no significant changes, the rooms are still as comfortable and the cleanliness is maintained, the facilities are complete with mountain views, clean air and a variety of breakfast menus with many choices so you won't get bored during your 4-night stay here.

The cleanliness is maintained, I stayed in 2 rooms, the 2007 one had a slight problem, either with the card or the automatic one, because when the card was inserted into the automatic one, it was a bit difficult to turn on, it took time & effort to turn on the electricity, for the 2009 room, for some reason, the iron on the top of the door suddenly fell off, so I called a technician but the technician couldn't install it so they took it all off, for the food, it was varied but maybe there were some that didn't suit my taste, for the pool, there was a warm water pool, even though it was small, it was enough so it wasn't too cold when swimming, especially since the hotel was located on top, for the wifi, it was very good, everywhere there was its own fast wifi, for the hot water in the bathroom, it also took time but once it came out it was very hot, for the price of the drinks in the cafe The rooftop is quite expensive. I ordered hot chocolate and hot cappuccino, but the hot chocolate didn't suit my taste buds, like the milk tasted like the chocolate wasn't very good. The cappuccino was nice, the coffee was a bit strong. The morning and evening views were very nice.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The hot water was often intermittent, so I had to bathe my little ones in cold water.
Access to the pool requires climbing.
There were brown spots on the bed.
I requested a room near the pool. Instead, I was given the one furthest from the pool. 🙈
Maybe it's because it's been around for a while. But they should still maintain the quality and make improvements.

I loved the view from my room's balcony, which directly overlooks Mount Arjuna. It's also beautiful at night, seeing the city lights. The atmosphere is comfortable and peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Perfect for your honeymoon. The views from the room in the morning and the cafe at night are beautiful. The hotel is also spacious, so you can take a morning walk and see the beauty of Batu City.

I arrived in the middle of the night and no one helped me with my luggage. The receptionist was unfriendly and didn't provide information about the Wi-Fi or password. So far, the hotel has been really good and comfortable, as expected.
