I stayed in the King Suite Corner. The room was spacious, and the premises were very clean with all the equipment operating properly. The staff were very friendly, from security, bell boy, receptionist, and restaurant staff. I think the location is pretty strategic, since it was very easy to get an online taxi. I will recommend my friend to stay.

GAIA Cosmo Yogyakarta is a very good and nice hotel to stay. The room is wide and clean, the bed is soft, and the food is delicious. All staff are humble and helpful.

This was my first two-night stay at this hotel for a workshop. I was very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room. The food in the restaurant was also delicious. If I go back to Yogyakarta, I'll stay here. It's close to the train station.

The hotel is very gen-z, with an industrial theme. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast is delicious, not just any old thing. It's really great. The only downside is that there's no Netflix. Hopefully, the next time I stay here again, there will be Netflix.

I booked a Premier Family Suite, but unfortunately the bathroom wasn't very clean, with the shower and bathtub being a bit yellow. Hopefully, I'm just having bad luck and the rest of the room is fine. 👍🏼🥰

If you're looking for a modern hotel in Yogyakarta that still offers a local touch, Gaia Cosmo Hotel could be the right choice. I stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable from the moment I walked in. The hotel's atmosphere is warm, with contemporary design combined with traditional Yogyakarta elements, making every corner feel aesthetically pleasing and Instagrammable. The facilities are also comprehensive, including an outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, and a comfortable lounge to relax in after a long day of sightseeing.
Breakfast at Gaia Cosmo was quite satisfying, with a varied selection of Indonesian and international dishes. It was delicious, although during peak hours the restaurant area was a bit crowded, so I had to wait for some menus to be refilled. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful, both during check-in and when I needed information about Yogyakarta tourism. What impressed me most was the unique interior design, the comfortable atmosphere of the rooms, and the swimming pool, which was a favorite spot to unwind. For a 4-star hotel, the price is very commensurate with the facilities and comfort provided. The location is also strategic, in Umbulharjo and quite close to the city center, making it easy to reach Malioboro and other popular destinations by car.
