I think I'm starting to get addicted to staycations at Ibis hotels, hehe. It was a try at first, but the more I stay, the more I get hooked. The price is quite affordable, the facilities are good, the views from the rooms are beautiful, the location is strategic because it's in the city center and not noisy, and the staff service is very satisfying.

A last-minute hotel booking on the same day, our parents stayed. Thankfully, we got a non-smoking room and it was clean. The staff was friendly, the cleanliness was well-maintained, and it was also child-friendly since our parents brought their grandchildren to Padang. Even though we only stayed one night, the service was excellent... Thanks to IBIS Padang.

It's nice to have some Padang food in the breakfast restaurant, very local and satisfying, because you don't have to look outside the hotel, although the taste of some of the snacks is still not authentic, I think the chef can upgrade it, for example, triangular shaped snacks made from sticky rice and grated coconut.
