I think I'm starting to get addicted to staycations at Ibis hotels, hehe. It was a try at first, but the more I stay, the more I get hooked. The price is quite affordable, the facilities are good, the views from the rooms are beautiful, the location is strategic because it's in the city center and not noisy, and the staff service is very satisfying.

A last-minute hotel booking on the same day, our parents stayed. Thankfully, we got a non-smoking room and it was clean. The staff was friendly, the cleanliness was well-maintained, and it was also child-friendly since our parents brought their grandchildren to Padang. Even though we only stayed one night, the service was excellent... Thanks to IBIS Padang.

I arrived at 3 PM and waited almost an hour for a room. It was annoying, and the lobby's AC wasn't cold enough for that long of a wait. The bathroom was really stinky, so I don't know if it can be improved. The food was quite varied, but it was pretty basic for a hotel that costs almost 900,000 Rupiah for a superior room. I deserved better service and amenities than this.

I booked a business suite for my family. The closet was only separated by a wall without a door. Family members were reluctant to go to the toilet because it was so open. The changing room at the swimming pool had no curtain or door. The pool water was a bit cloudy. Only one towel was provided at the swimming pool for each room even though the room capacity was 2 people. Not hygienic.
