DISCLAIMER ON I am reviewing this hotel based on my own experience and it was my first time staying at this hotel. There are pluses and minuses. The pluses: 1. The location is still close to the city center. 2. The building is classic because it is an old building (if you like old and classic buildings, you can try staying here). 3. The room price is still reasonable. 4. The room size is quite large. 5. For the grand deluxe room that I stayed in, there was a balcony facing the main road. Now the minuses: 1. The building is old and poorly maintained. 2. The room door lock still uses a regular key, not an electronic card. 3. There is no elevator, all activities must use the regular stairs (not suitable for the elderly). 4. The bathroom cleanliness is lacking. 5. There is no warm (hot) water in the bathroom (this is what I experienced in the room I stayed in). 6. A hotel of this size does not have a generator (this is based on when I stayed here when the PLN electricity went out for about half an hour, it was pitch black). 7. The building is poorly maintained, there is an unpleasant smell. This could be due to the smell of the piles of sheets or tablecloths in the hall and some of the untidy function rooms. Conclusion: This hotel is suitable for those who want a large room at a low price, or for groups holding events here. This hotel is not suitable for business travelers or seniors who have difficulty climbing stairs. I have no comments regarding the food at the restaurant because I didn't try the food. For the price offered by this hotel, there are several hotels around Ternate with better facilities. That's my review, I hope it's helpful, and thank you.

I recommend keeping the bathroom clean. It smells good, but scrub the floor with cleaning fluid. Please provide a trash can in the room, as the room I stayed in didn't have one.

standard rooms' windows face the wall of another building next to the hotel. But cheaper. I suggest you choose superior/supervdeluxe room, which has a much nicer view of the sea. Not tjat expensive and worth it. Laundry is super expensive. Do your laundry at the nearby laundry shop. The room condition is generally clean, but old and needs refurbished.
