My first time in Malang and I found a great hotel. It's located within the Malang Point Mall area, so there are plenty of places to eat and hang out. The hotel's location is also strategic, close to everything. The staff was friendly and responsive when we encountered any issues. I recommend this hotel for your next stay in Malang.

The hotel is strategically located, with delicious, varied food. Friendly service. I left my child's swimsuit in the changing room, and it was surprisingly dry and fragrant. I then returned it in a neat laundry bag. Recommended for a family stay.

Surprisingly the rooms are really good, spacious and quite aesthetic, beyond my expectations because the price is really affordable. The amenities turned out to be really wow, got an electric cable, electric kettle, soap, shampoo, toothbrush + toothpaste, towel, coffee (nescafe), tea (tong tji), sugar (gulaku). The TV is also a smart TV so you can watch Netflix and others. The point is, this room is really worth the prize, no complaints ✨ in the lobby they also sell pop noodles and some soft drinks if you're too lazy to go out or forget to buy them

When you're tired of traveling long distances, a short check-in time is very helpful. Plus the kitchen staff's willingness to serve in the restaurant even though orders were already closed. Amazing, so we didn't have to bother going out to find dinner. Gallons of water are also provided in the lobby to refill as desired. The hot water in the bathroom is strong and functions well. The AC is also cold. Rooms are clean and spacious. Most of the people staying are families, so it feels comfortable. A smoking area is provided in the garden in front of the room.

Staying here is comfortable and okay. With a rate of 200 thousand you can get a clean and nice room. There is a large bed with 2 pillows and a blanket. AC works well cold. Wifi works well. The TV also turns on well even though it is not a smart TV. There is a minibar refrigerator which can also be used to store food and drink. There are tables and chairs and also a wardrobe. For amenities, there are 2 towels, soap, shampoo and toothbrush. The bathroom is clean, the hot water works well, the heat is steady. Car and motorbike parking is neatly arranged. If I go to Malang, I will come back here again

Hotel Shalimar in Malang is a beautiful hotel with a historic, colonial feel. It's located in a pleasant and clean neighborhood, which makes for an especially pleasant stay. The hotel exudes ambiance and tranquility. A nice surprise was the hidden bar, which featured live music the evening of our stay. That really added something extra to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
