A clean and comfortable place. It's located in a strategic alley, quite quiet, and only a five-minute walk to Malioboro Street. The owner and the caretaker are very kind. For the low price, it was a very good stay.
The location is close to the downtown of Malioboro and the monument station, the officers are friendly and alert, the price is in accordance with the budget next time if you go to Yogja, definitely to the Setia Kawan Inn
This more like a capsule hotel but not too crowded, you can still feel private in the small room, and if you go with fam's you can ask in the smaller room, but if you want to make a friend while you alone make sure to ask in the bigger room. For the service it's great for the backpackers.
Affordable accommodation, which I tried, and it turned out to be nice and comfortable, the bed was really soft, and there was hot water too, like a 5-star hotel, next time we'll stay here again, oh yeah, it's easy to find food and breakfast, just outside the hotel there are lots of food vendors, it's really great.
Alhamdulillah, staying there felt like staying at my own family's house, the mother and father were kind. Masya Allah, I will go back there again if I return to Jogja 🙂🥰.
> the location of the homestay is easy to reach & not too far from Malioboro
> there is wifi & mineral water dispenser
> the room is quite good & clean (the room walls are bulging due to humidity & need renovation
> there is a mosque in front of the homestay
> the homestay staff are friendly & helpful
> the room price is affordable/cheap
The staff is super friendly and helpful, the place is clean and comfortable. Close to several tourist attractions. If I go to Jogja, I want to stay here again ❤️
The staff were friendly and responsive, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and fragrant. The bathrooms were also spotless. There was a prayer area and slippers for both bathroom and prayer. The place was quiet and peaceful.
The atmosphere was very comfortable and serene, providing a cool and relaxing environment. It was incredibly peaceful, with no noise disturbances, making it perfect for rest and relaxation.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the rice fields right in front of my room. Waking up to such a beautiful and calming scenery was truly unforgettable.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing getaway. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.

I had a pleasant experience staying at Amartya Hotel. I stayed in the 38sqm room for three nights and moved to the 50sqm on the fourth night. The room is super spacious and the decoration is industrialist theme. The room was clean as well. I especially liked the in-room breakfast service thus I didn't have to eat in a crowded restaurant. They better keep this service even though the pandemic is almost over. Communication with the hotel was through Whatsapp and honestly, it is much better than keep calling them via phone. One thing to note is I hope they insulate the windows better to reduce noise from a nearby mosque. Fortunately, the hotel provided earplugs for only Rp 10,000 a pair
Very satisfying. I have stayed in Jogja several times. One of the best hotels compared to the price. Very clean, very friendly staff, easy access. Will return to Hotel Dermaga Sonosewu if I go to Jogja.
This place reminds me of living in the village with such a luxury ambiance. We had amazing experiences there with all facilities they gave! Clean room, exterior and interior look traditional but with modern facilities for example Wi-Fi, TV (we also could watch Netflix ☺️), AC, infinity pool. Price is totally worth… I don’t know, I can’t explain with words.. I’m totally amazed! Honest review & highly recommend!
