It surprised me for the first time. To enter the lobby, we must go to car park than got welcomed in lobby. What an experience in first impression; I was like superstar who came to hotel but from secret way, hahahaha. I'm so happy to stay in the first night at Holiday Inn Express Semarang in room 1206, that's why I decided to extend another one night here. The cleanliness is excellent. The only problem is only coming from 2 things. 1st coming from the smell from the towel. Before I used the smell was like mold. And 2nd the guy in the front office not so nice compared to the girls and the young guy (I forgot his name, but I think he is the older) maybe it because when I coming to the reception I was wearing short pants, flip flop, and mess shirt. As a person who also works in hospitality please do not classify people by how they look. The guest is always a guest. Don't show them any fake smiles. But overall I love the food, the cleanliness, the security system from the entrance is amazing.

The location of the Hotel was so Amazing. They have sports stadium just behind the hotel with walk access. The location near by Simpang 5 park. It’s a good place also for walking or hang out during your stay on Semarang. The design of the hotel is good for myself. Simple and felt like home. The staff good and friendly. It’s the most points. Just have disappointed with the water shower. It’s worse because they have 2 ways. The water not really strong. When we have shower, the water will be go anywhere.
