The minute you reach you are greeted with friendly and helpful staff. Checking in was smooth and staff were extremely amazing. The breakfast buffet spread was extremely delicious. Thanks to the chef. For those who love nature, this is the place. Kids friendly atmosphere. We have to thanks again the kitchen staff for preparing us an early breakfast takeaways due to our early check out at 5am. Thanks to all the staff at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel. Keep it up.

During this pandemic, shankara is the best choice. It offers villa-type rooms so we can keep distance from other guests and also maintain our privacy. We enjoyed its swimming pool so much. The breakfast was also good. Within walking distance, there is bicycles rental station. We rented bicycles and hired a guide to enjoy beautiful village scenery, experienced pottery-making, and visited coconut brown sugar home-industry. So happy to meet nice people in the village. We really enjoyed our holiday in magelang at the fullest despite of the closure of Borobudur.

The food quality is very good and quite cheap. Recommend you eat here. Dinner is served until 9PM. 5 minutes walking to Borobudur.

Friendly owner, nice homestay

The location is very strategic, near with borobudur temple, 10-15 minutes to bukit rhema and puthuk setumbu. Room and breakfast is standard

Everything from Amata is so much fun. The staff is very friendly and responsive once we ask for help. For those who have no agenda / activities during the stay, do not worry, Amata has many alternative activities. Staying here feels like a king, the food is good, the pool is there for kids and adults, clean rooms and very complete facilities. Moreover, only 10 minutes to Borobudur Temple. All is well. Staff are nice and very helpful. Room also very clean and comfy also spacious. Simple breakfast but it's worth the price. Definitely will come back again if there's a occasion close that area. Glad to had this experience. Thanks a lot! Keep up the good work!
