Staying at Manohara Hotel is an amazing experience. Breakfast and afternoon caffe while enjoying Borobudur temple up close. Can access anytime to the temple area with special access. The staff is friendly and provides solutions for tourists who want to enjoy tours around the temple. Accompanied by hotel staff to Puthuk Setumbu to see the sunrise, chicken church, museum, dagi hill. It's just that after Waisak the hotel will be renovated and we don't know when it will open again. The room size is quite good for a hotel. Star 3. Success for Manohara Hotel. The food is quite delicious.

Sudah lama ingin menginap dihotel ini dan akhirnya terpenuhi juga, tiba jam 14 disambut hangat oleh staff, proses check in juga mudah, front office menjelaskan detail fasilitas yang didapat, sy request extra bed, personil 4 orang (2 dewasa, 2 anak umur 14thn, 7thn), harga kamar termasuk fasilitas naik ke candi (utk 2orang diluar extra bed)+guide, dapat welcome drink+snack, yang sy suka dari hotel ini adalah hospitality nya, vibes nya sangat tenang dan damai, walaupun bangunan kamar kamarnya termasuk ' oldschool ' tetapi tetap bersih, ac dingin, in room fascilities lengkap, channel TV saja yang terbatas, air panas berfungsi baik, semua staff nya ramah, bisa makan di restaurant dengan latar candi, makanan diresto enak enak dan bersahabat dikantong, anak extra chrage 75rb untuk sarapan, rasa makanannya enak-enak, pagi nya bisa jalan jalan sekeliling candi, dan sepi (ini yang sy cari), jadi puas untuk mengabadikan momen momen, dengan uang yang dikeluarkan sangat sangat ' worth-it ' dengan apa yang didapat, terutama momen buat keluarga, anak-anak juga senang dapat mempelajari sejarah, oke banget, check out juga mudah, next will be back again, thank you Manohara.

The staff are warm and helpful, but their planning and communication can be improved if you require help with your itinerary. Food and room is OK, not fantastic with price. What you are paying for is their location and exclusive access to the temple.

The best hotel to stay at to completely enjoying Borobudur. This hotel is located inside the gate of Borobudur area, so we can go in and out Borobudur yard at anytime we like to. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean and terrace at the back is super cozy too. The price is affordable and already includes tickets to get to the stupas, sandals, and of course an experienced tour guide. All the staffs are nice and the food are delicious. Last but not least, this hotel also provides facilities for the guests to watch the sunrise light up Borobudur at Dagi Hill. Thank you Manohara Hotel!

Overall the hotel is comfortable, with exclusive access to Borobudur Temple. We stayed at Bukit Dagi, separated from the main building, which is about 4 minutes drive, or to the west of Borobudur temple, in the hills of Dagi we can enjoy the silence of nature because the model room is a cottage with a truly natural environment in the form of a forest, the peak of Borobudur is clearly visible from meat hill. Since yesterday, on the first day of Eid, there was no sunset breakfast at Dagi Hill, so you had to eat at the restaurant. A shuttle bus is provided to pick up and drop off at the hotel or temple area.

We stayed at Dagi Abhinaya, the atmosphere was very calm and cool. Feels like luxury camping. You can still clearly hear the sound of crickets and birds, like the atmosphere in the mountains. The rooms are clean and tidy, although some equipment such as air conditioners, wall components, look old but do not reduce the comfort of staying overnight. The rooms at Dagi Abhinaya are located separately from the main Manohara hotel, which is on Dagi Hill. We will be delivered by shuttle car by hotel staff or you can bring your own car. We recommend staying at Dagi Abhinaya to upgrade to the "sunrise breakfast" package, as this is a very rare opportunity. It's been a long way up to the Dagi hill, it's a shame if you don't all follow the "sunrise breakfast" for the winning view from here, we can see firsthand the view of the top of Borobudur surrounded by thin clouds and hills. The friendliness of the hotel staff is quite good. And coincidentally we got a surprise birthday greeting from the hotel staff (by request yes.) Additional facilities that we get free afternoon tea at the restaurant, free pass to borobudur, free shuttle around borobudur. The point is it's worth it to stay at Dagi Abhinaya.

Awesome. Very relaxing in an excellent location. We stayed in the cottages up on Dagi hill. Great spot overlooking the temple complex. Definitely will stay again.
