For conditions on vacation on an island such as Selayar recommended to stay here in addition to the very affordable prices of very comfortable hotel facilities I stayed 5 days 4 nights and every day were given fresh services like every check-in. Although the conditions on the cellar often turn off the lights, but the comfort of the hotel does not affect me at all to move from my room. Top, bro. Thank you Rayhan Square Hotel

The only best hotel on the island of Selayar. Cleanliness is quite good. Amenities, towels, pillows, blankets, tv, sink, drinking water, slippers, all are available. Bathroom facilities need to be repaired because the shower is clogged and the toilet sprayer is also small. The breakfast is just plain fried rice with side dishes and toast. The place is quite strategic in the middle of the city of Benteng. From the airport about 15 minutes by car

The hotel looks very modern on the surface. Leather(-ette?) furniture, big well-stuffed chairs and couches. Modern. The room are a different story. My "deluxe" was tiny, makes me wonder what the standard rooms are like. The bed linens and blanket were discoloured and stained in places. The shower/toilet had no temperature control - "on" or "off". Cold. Toilet had the traditional water spray, but no toilet paper. This wasn't an omission - there's no place for it. Given the layout of the toilet/shower area, it was quite challenging not to soak the towels while showering. The one overhead light was a bare bulb; if the water had it it would have exploded and rained glass down. Moving on to food, their restaurant is across the street. The selection looks ok, but after a while I stopped asking for anything vaguely exotic... they didn't have it. Seems like more of a hobby than a restaurant. Breakfast was passable. The two egg dishes I had were both served cold: from a food-safety perspective this is better than being lukewarm, but it's not how I expect an omelet to be presented. "

It is probably the best hotel in Selayar with clean and standard modern facilities. I didn't see any better option there. The owner (pak Arsyad) is also very helpful to the guests. Recommended hotel! (The only bad experience I had there was when someone, the local people I guess, came and investigating with private questions. I think this kind of behavior is not good for Selayar tourism)
