This is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our 2-night stay but would not likely return due issues with the room. The main areas are stunning. The drawing room offers a quite space to relax, with drinks and snacks provided. The breakfast, in the sunlit conservatory, is absolutely gourmet. The staff are friendly and helpful, provided a map and made great suggestions on where to eat (including a free drink at The Cow). They stored our bags when we arrived at 11 am and early check-in was offered for 40€ (which we declined). We appreciated that our luggage was moved to our room, up one the flight of stairs, before we checked in later that night. We booked a family room ($500 CAN/ night in July) and the photos on the listing looked very luxe and spacious. The bedroom was nicely decorated, but the bathroom was as afterthought: bland, beige and in desperate need of maintenance. The blamd ceramic floor tiles were cracked, the sink was offset from the pedestal, everything felt unfinished/poorly done. I could excuse the decore if the bathroom was pristine, but the lack of upkeep was surprising. The beds looked comfy, but the mattresses were tired and the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. Considering Ariel House is part of a large hotel group and advertises "boutique elegance", the room did not meet expectation and was inconsistent with the rest of the hotel. A few updates would make a big impact and deliver a true elegant and luxury experience.

Great place to stay very central with lovely local amenities- Staff so friendly and professional- Parking available at no extra cost which is good as most city parking expensive My only complaint is sleep disruption due to the very noisy adjoining room doors banging when people leave or return- perhaps some cushioning on door frames

We had a good stay 2 rooms. Facilities and staff good. Car park was helpful but limited spaces. One Room had been refurbished and the other had an older bathroom ... a little dated but functional. I would return to this hotel without reservation.

Great location for the arena and also very close to the DART station for travel into the city centre. Very well decorated and comfortable rooms. The breakfast every morning was brilliant and staff were attentive and eager to help. Would definitely recommend and return to if/when we visit Dublin again.

This was my first time traveling to Dublin, so I was a bit anxious about whether I would be in a good area while also having easy access to the city. Ariel House was the PERFECT location. It was a short 3 min walk to the train station, so we could be in the downtown district within a 10-15 minutes, but we were far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It's also a stone's throw from the Aviva Stadium, so if someone is attending an event at that venue, Ariel House is within walking distance. The room was beautiful and the complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious. I'm from the US and get the typical "continental" style breakfast, but this was far beyond that. We were able to eat a hot breakfast, have a cup of coffee/tea/juice, and ease into our day. I HIGHLY recommend Ariel House with it's beautiful Victorian Style drawing room and spacious suites.
