Great location near pubs and food and the castle.

Poor communication - no response to requests from guests

Property is a little loud with the comings/goings of other guests. I don’t know if there’s a way tonsoften some of of the hall noise or not. Very clean property though and very walkable to Donegal attractions/pubs. Not the hotel’s fault, but Donegal is very, very busy during daytime/tourist hours and parking was not very convenient when we arrived, though not a huge deal.

Perfect location. Very nice room. Check in process was no problem.

City Center, great access to shopping and restaurants. Pay for parking about 1 block away. No real interaction with staff. We got our key from a store clerk around the corner. Stayed a peaceful night and check out as just as simple.

The accommodation could not be more central, right on the square 2 mins walk from anything. Check in can be done via an app or by going to the Spar (2 mins away!) who were friendly and efficient. The accommodation is spotless, well laid out with great furnishing. If you are lucky to be in rooms 5 or 6 you have wonderful views out over the square. Cannot fault it.

The room was spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. Location was good, but there is no parking on site. A few things that would make the room more comfortable are more chairs, a better location for the TV so it's not so high, provide something to remove water from the floor of the wetroom/bathroom or place a shield to prevent the entire floor from getting wet.

Ultra modern and spotlessly clean. Great place to stay. Don't try to pick the key up early, you'll get a firm NO!

We had the smallest room. Did not like the setup of the toilet and the shower. Was noisy and the noise from the front door we heared from every person who entered the house.

Fantastic location. Super clean. Comfy.

Great for a trip in Donegal town. Very convenient to everything you'd require. Parking was literally a stroll away in Car Park 4.

Check in was awkward, the app didn’t work we had to collect our keys from a Spa shop. The room was tiny and it seemed all the drainage/pipework from showers and toilets went though our room

Property is located directly in the city square (diamond). It’s close to several pubs and shops where we found everyone very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy with keyless entry. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. There was no lift, which we were aware of but something to consider for those with mobility limitations. Highly recommend.

The property was beautiful, spotless, and location,location and location. We liked the modern shower.

We loved the location of Donegal House and check in was very smooth. There is no elevator so need to be able to manage stairs which was not an issue for our group of five adults. Will recommend to our friends when visiting Ireland.

I liked everything but the stairs. It was an excellent location.

It was a very convenient location on the diamond with plenty places to eat.The room was comfortable with good facilities.There are flights of stairs up to the rooms which may be a problem for those with mobility problems.

This is a really neat place to stay. Right on the diamond but also very quiet. There is a car park around the corner that is cheap and the check in process works fine too. It is an easy walk to anything you would need. I will definitely come back again.

Great place! The communication with the property staff was outstanding and every question was answered promptly. The room was very nice, very clean, and everything worked. Much nicer than any other place we've stayed in this price range. There is parking just around the corner in 'No. 1 Car Park' near the ALDI grocery store.

Such a nice, quiet spot right in the heart of the Donegal Diamond. As soon as you walk in and the front door closes, its immediately silent even if its lively outside. The entire place appears to be recently renovated, it is immaculate. The air freshener in the stairwell smells lovely as well. Our room was great, we had a nice sitting area, mini fridge for our breakfast or leftovers, and plenty of room for the bed and walk around space even with our luggage open. The shower is a little different in that there is no curtain and the entire room is your shower, but it was easy to not splash overly and make a mess, plus plenty of hot water. The key pick up was easy at the Spar across the street, but they are strict about the check in time and there are no official places to leave your bags ahead of time in town. I highly recommend this property as it is well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Great place to relax and since right in the center of town you have piles of restaurants within 5 minutes or less. Plus the shopping is in the Diamond as well.
