This is our third visit to the Skylon and we still love to stay here while in Dublin. The staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the older doorman. Right on the bus line, it is very convenient to catching the bus into city center or up to the airport. The Cat & Cage pub a block away serves some of the best food in the city. There are amenities within walking distance and the closeness to the Botanic Gardens & Griffith Park make it such a pleasant visit. We consider the Skylon our Dublin home each time we visit.

Staff are lovely. I broke my ankle before arriving, they didn’t have a disabled room but sorted my room and ensured I had a shower with stool that would work. Lovely staff, hotel and king room. I highly recommend

The members of staff who checked us in and out where very helpful and friendly as well as all the chamber maids/porters.
The room was excellent and all the facilities were excellent as well.

Elevator was not working when we were there, so staff was very helpful to carry our bags for us, as well as validate our parking for free due to this inconvenience.

Temperature control lacking. Cold one time and hot at night. Beds not very comfortable. Loved the updated bathroom. Everything was clean. Lamps by the bed didn't work. Loved the usb chargers. Older building I understand.

Very handy for DCU campus, which was where I needed to be. The Aircoach from Belfast will drop you off outside. Hotel is friendly, clean & safe.

Our trip was cancelled due to the fire at Heathrow and this hotel would not work with us. They said we would be charged and could take it up with the airline. The woman I spoke with said she would email me a receipt to file a claim with the airline after the date of our stay passed. She requested my email and said she made a note. After the date came and went, I never received an email from the property. When I reached out again to the property they said they couldn’t provide a receipt and that I’d have to reach out to hotels.com.
Our trip was ruined and all the other hotels and the rental car company were all very understanding except Hotel Dublin Skylon Hotel. I doubt I’ll ever go to Ireland, but if I do, I won’t stay there.
