What Guests Say About Their Stay

The host was really welcoming and friendly. The owners were also there to welcome upon arriving. I had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property overlooking the sea. Nice room. Enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace daily. Thank you for a great stay. I brought my small dog with me and the owners and host were nice and welcomed my dog. During my staff there were two other people who stayed there, it was not noticeable. I enjoyed the pool. The first time getting there was a bit difficult as it’s hard to navigate through the mountains. Other than that, it got easier. I liked having to stay away from the crowd. It felt like a retreat. The parking is right in the property. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Cefalu.

This house is beautiful and quiet up in the hills above Cefalu. It has an excellent view of the ocean and the city. We had a nice patio to sit on, there's an glass enclosed breakfast room and a pool. We were met by Nino, the owners father, who was very helpful and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and how peaceful it was.

Great stay with Francesco, Nino (his father) and Concetta (who made breakfast and cleaned the rooms)! The property is in a beautiful setting and Francesco takes pride in keeping the grounds beautiful. Nice plantings, a beautiful lawn, and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful and willing to give tips and suggestions for visiting the area. Breakfast was nice and served on the covered terrace with fantastic views. The only negatives were the short dirt road that you had to travel to get to the property (not really a big deal), and the shower was the typical small corner style common in Europe (a bit tight for comfort). Overall would highly recommend a stay here!

The room was extremely hot when we arrived, and we turned the air conditioning on to cool it down. We then left for town and upon our return, we were shocked and dismayed to discover that someone had come into our room and turned off the air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot and the air conditioning unit could not cool down the room fast enough for us to get a good night of rest. We checked out the next morning, frustrated and exhausted. In addition, there were no facial tissues, the furniture was uncomfortable, the floor was uneven and dangerous when getting out of bed, there were no toiletries in the shower, slow internet, and no full-sized refrigerator/freezer as is misrepresented in the property details. Also, the room was a loft with low, sloped ceilings where it was easy to bump your head. The property description should also disclose that the road to the property changes into very bumpy gravel road prior to getting to the property which adds to the confusion on how to get there.

It’s a great place to stay ~7 mins from the Cefalu city centre. It is up on the hills which involves a bit of bumpy road, but once you get there the view of the city centre is very beautiful. The owner looks after the place well, including new swimming pool and more rooms. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool as the weather was too cold for us, but would love to come back later for it. The room was nice and clean with patio for enjoying the view and some sun shines. The stone/marble floor in the room meant the room was chilled, which would be good for the summer. Given the weather was still cold of us, we would have liked some slippers for it. There is a heater inside the room but the control is limited. We found the room to be too cold at night, so had to contact the owner to raise the temperature of the room for us. He was quick to respond and we slept well in the end, but it would have been nice to do it ourselves. The breakfast was simple and fresh, with bread, fruits, cheese and ham. The lady who was there to make and serve food was nice. Really quiet and peaceful place to stay. The food recommendations and tips on Cefalu from the owner was really helpful. Thanks to him, we managed to eat some of the best food we had in Sicily in Cefalu. We look forward to going back again in the future.

A wonderful B&B hosted by the excellent host, Francesco. Francesco gave us great local tips (including restaurants, parking spots, beaches) and was always welcoming and trying to ensure that we had a great stay which we did. We booked two rooms and both had a wonderful sea view on the hill, ample free parking, delicious and fresh breakfast and security gates. Place is located in a quiet location on the hill above the town which is only a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend!

We arrived a bit earlier than expected but Nino was able to greet us within about 15 mins and allowed us entry onto the property where we could park and check in. The room was a bit small but this is a classic B&B so we had use of the entire kitchen and property; found ourselves later in the evening able to have a private dinner overlooking a gorgeous sunset from their veranda. The views at this property are stunning as is the entire town. You can't walk to anything from this hotel (and it's located down a really bumpy dirt road so have a solid car!) but we drove into town and found parking quite easily so wasn't a big deal. Nina made us an amazing breakfast the next morning which we took on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous vista. This place should be a must if you're passing through this gem of a town.....and as a bonus, if you love dogs like we do, there are two that can be seen on the property-Tomo and Kira; two of the cutest friendliest dogs around!

We stayed one night and while the accommodation was fine if basic, access was our main concern. I did not appreciate the rough dirt road, our small hatchback was just ok over the worst section which is the first 250m off the main road. Anything more sporty would struggle. It is interesting at night! The staff were friendly although we had some communication issues when we arrived, the owner was not about to allow us in the main gates. It probably works out better if staying for a few days, other reviews have covered other points.
