The location in Catania is perfect and the room was clean, modern, cool (AC!) and spacious. We left too early for the breakfast but were given an excellent recommendation for dinner. The two drawbacks to be aware of: no elevator to bring luggage up 2/3 flights to entrance and the entrance is hidden behind the building, in an unattractive alley which was a bit daunting at night. However, the rooms were secure and we had no complaints. The host graciously arranged an airport transfer at 5am and walked us to the car. We had an excellent experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would stay there again, very friendly staff who were always here to help. They gave us a voucher each day for the next mornings breakfast for the cafe over the road. We were late getting breakfast one morning due to a trip to mount etna however we were able to get our items up until 4pm so we had a late lunch. The street was a bit noisy out of the window on a Saturday night until 3am however we had some earplugs so we didn’t notice it after we put these in. Clean rooms, lovely balcony to sit out on, great location on the main road in Catania. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Bad start and end but otherwise okay. They wouldn’t let me checkin early even though they had rooms and then wouldn’t offer a late check out - had to change in a pokey smelly room that was my most unpleasant experience of the whole trip

We stayed for one night only, prior to an early flight. The room was very clean and comfortable. It’s located conveniently for sights in central Catania and is well run by a couple of gentlemen who spoke enough English to communicate the basics. I’d certainly stay for longer on any return to Catania. Good value.

Nice clean modern rooms. We also had a nice balcony in our room for four family members. The checkin checkout service was excellent. They arranged a 4:30 am taxi for us. Very central location. Nice towels, soap, good shower. All non smoking. Lots do, places to eat and drink nearby.

Easy to get to. Great view. Lovely modern rooms. Very clean and pleasant. Staff very helpful. Only issue when booking I can't remember whether I saw anything about only stairs. There is no elevator at moment which could be hard for older guests. However the managers are very helpful and will come help carry your bags. A very pleasant stay.

I have stayed at B&B Stesicoro for 5 nights. The reservation was made through Expedia and managed very well by the manager of the B&B. The entry of the B&B is located in a little back street, and contrary to some comments I have read on various sites, the location is extremely safe and heavily patrolled by local police, police and carabinieri. On arrival I was welcomed by Fabio, the owner-manager of the property, who undertook every effort to explain the amenities and provided information of the area. Breakfast was served from 7.30 am each day and consisted of fresh fruit, fresh pastries, freshly made coffee to order as well as small goods and cheeses. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained during breakfast service. Rooms were cleaned and made up every morning - this included arranging beds and linen.

The entrance to the b&b is down a foreboding alley, but once you make it through the threshold the place itself is nice. It's on a main square in Catania, connected to the main shopping street - so very handy for shops/restaurants/bars, but with the corresponding noice

Don't judge a book by its cover, a small front door is in a dark alley, it did not look like much plus the residence is on the second floor. As they answered the door we felt at home, they only have 5 rooms with all you need. We had a full breakfast as good as it gets in Sicily. But what mad this place great it the night watchmen who help us with directions, recommended restaurant and suggested places to visit that made our stay in Catania enjoyable. As we were driving around Sicily the only down fall is parking in the municipal garage a few blocks away just across the town market

Very nice room on 2nd floor of a Baroque building - no lift but staff carried bags upstairs. Owner and staff cheerful and pleasant. Room on corner of busy Via Etnea and Piazza Stesicoro -very noisy at night. On street parking hard to find.
