We liked the 'extras' provided by Bed in Spa. As Brits we appreciated the coffee machine in particular. We had a jacuzzi bath and we really made the most of it. The staff are very helpful and attentive, giving advice on pl;aces to eat and to visit. Off-site parking was literally around the corner but was very expensive. Given that Palermo is a bit of a nightmare when it comes to street parking, we probably took the safest option. If you are staying in the city for a few days then a car isn't really necessary and driving is 'interesting'!
