Crowne Plaza VENICE EAST - QUARTO D'ALTINO by IHG, an IHG Hotel

This is the perfect hotel for exploring Venice. Their shuttle provided round trip transportation to and from the airport, and the train station was located directly behind the hotel, making for an easy trip to the island. The hotel could use an update, but the convenience and service makeup for it. Everyone at the hotel was helpful giving recommendations, including the pizza takeout across the street that was a delicious & inexpensive dinner. We saw many people struggling with luggage on the island, and we repeatedly said thank goodness we didn’t stay there. We loved our stay & highly recommended this location.

The hotel staff were very personable and easy to deal with. The rooms are larger than average for the price point. There’s a free shuttle to the airport in Venice. Or it’s a quick walk to the nearest train station.

The property was convenient for the one night stay. The shuttle to airport was a plus. One hiccup was I thought breakfast was included in our stay but they charged us and I am pretty sure it was included.

Airport transportation was convenient, Train is close walking distance.

The staff was super friendly! Bathroom needs updating and cleaning. But it was a quick stop for the night. Walked over to the train station.

From the moldy smell, the filthy hallway, the broken down bathroom, the poor food served in the restaurant and the staff that didn’t give a sh*t, I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Located next to Quarto d'Altino, this hotel is a very convenient option for airport. Very clean, spacious rooms and excellent breakfast with English speaking staff, me and my family liked the hotel very much. Beds are very comfortable and soft and bathrooms are quite big with separate shower area and bathtub. We will be back to this hotel whenever we are in Venice

I had to return a rental car at the Polo airport and wanted to ride the free shuttle the hotel provides. I scheduled a pickup and asked the front desk where to get the shuttle. He said at the third terminal. I asked how I would recognize the vehicle, he said it would have the hotel logo on it. It didn't! It was a black van like many other vans. I ended up paying a taxi 45 euros to get back to the hotel. Either put a logo on the van or identify it in some way. Also, a more specific location would have helped. The pickup area was in the parking lot with no identifying location. I had to find an unidentifiable van in front of terminal 3 in an unspecific location. Good luck with that!

Perfect overall.

The third floor and our bathroom had a musty smell at times. We could not get the temperature regulated where the air conditioning would work consistently. It is frustrating when what looks to be a simple wall setting for temperature regulation looks to work, but the fan did not always work, and the air conditioning only worked for a short period of time.
