Great area lovely hotel

This hotel was depressing. The rooms had bare minimum, SUPER hard beds, very thin walls, and staff were aloof. My bathroom had a super weird configuration where I could not get ready in the morning so I brought all my stuff out to the bedroom and got ready at the desk. However, the biggest problem with the stay was you had to sleep with your windows open, which allowed in bugs, noise, pollution, etc. I studied the hotels.com website and went to the hotel's website and studied it very carefully before booking. Both said air conditioning. When you got to the hotel they gave you a piece of paper that said they only run the air conditioner late spring and summer. Even with a medical condition they would not turn it on. The rooms were hot and stuffy. They suggested that we open the windows and prop open door to the hallway for airflow. I think not! We were exhausted our entire stay in Rome. My friend's room stunk like mold and had quite a bit of mold all on the walls. My room had a fresh coat of paint but still stuck like mold. I suspect it's from being shut up with no air flow. They at least need ceiling fans to help circulate the air. They're creating their own unhealthy environment. The only positive thing about this stay was it had hot water and the convenient location. However, there were many, many other hotels in the same area, so I would avoid this one.

The breakfast buffet is amazing! (included for us). Huge, Beautiful bathroom! Good to be careful walking around Termini station at night, but the location can’t be beat!

Property was adequate, breakfast was not rich enough, location was very convenient near to Roma Termini, and the roof was closed when we wanted to check it out.

Not happy with experience. - our room was very small and not worth the price. Our washroom was overflowing, it’s not possible to take shower. It’s unfair to address it as 4 star property. This hotel only charges for location. Hotel wifi is pathetic and as a tourist wi-fi is the basic need. Elevators are too old. A big NO. Don’t waste your money here, you can find multiple hotels on same street.

Horrible hotel, stinking bathroom, the worst Golden Tulip ever. How did they gey 4 stars is a mistery.

The hotel is very nice .. great staff .. 9 minutes walk from the railway station .. I just don’t recommend the breakfast there.
