Hotel and room were clean overal. Good location. Staff was quiet and a bit reserved, not overly friendly. Not unfriendly but not overly welcoming. The duplex room is a no-go; no view whatsoever, upper part of the room too hot and AC could not handle. Bed very comfortable. Elevator too slow every time. Nice esthetics overall, good location, but that’s it.

The hotel location is not difficult to reach if you know the town; however, there are no indications on the road and during the week-end you can get trapped into heavy pedestrian traffic which make you think you are in an area with no traffic allowed. Parking and garage indications are not provided by the hotel with a map, making it difficult to determine the distance from the hotel. The message received two days in advance of staying through Expedia was not helpful and my reply was not made accessible to the hotel staff (I checked with the staff). Once that miraculously you have been able to park your car, it is easy to obtain the resident permit to be exposed in the car; however, if you have found the spot far from the hotel you need to reach it again. The breakfast is uneven with some excellent selections and others less so. The apple pie is in the former group, and in the latter group are the orange juice not freshly squeezed and the avocado/smoked salmon toast, a tartine with the ingredients just one on top of the other. The room is spotless and the shower comfortable but the toilet paper of poor quality...

The hotel is ideally located in the Alta Citta of Bergamo. Hôtel design is spectacular. Rooms are large and comfortable. Highly recommend

Beautiful room, great location, comfortable bed. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the property controls the room temperature. The AC works but will not allow the temp to go below a hotel set temp. NOT OKAY! I paid for the room and I should be able to decide room temperature. It was too warm at night for both my wife and me. Won't stay here again unless they change this policy.

The hotel is very well located if you want to stay at the “Citta Alta” making it easy to get around. Everything was extremely clean—the room, the bathroom, and all common areas. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and always willing to help with suggestions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it 100%.

Central location in the upper town, next to the Gombit Tower. Clean modern styling, a comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Perfect for our short break and I’d happily stay there again.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, I can not fault it. Lovely staff, very comfortable, well appointed room and good breakfast. I would stay here again if visiting Bergamo. 😊

Clean room, nice welcome and wonderful staff. Excellent location

Room was spacious and newly built. A bit too modern for our taste in such an old building. Great location just off the main street in the town. Staff were friendly. Living space in our deluxe room was large enough but the sofa was not practical to sit on, as very deep due to its design as a fold out bed. The picture on wall was tilted to one side as an odd gesture to make it look trendy... not a great look, would be nicer to keep the room cosy, practical and traditional. Bathroom was large but no bath, and only one sink with limited space for toiletries. Sink was an odd modern design with a very small recess for water. Not really useable as a sink. Again, too much focus on modern design and not on practicality and comfort. It's called a hotel but it's actually more like a B&B. No restaurant, Bar, lounge or other facilities. It is possible to sit in the breakfast area during the day, but this is not very comfortable. Breakfast was good with some made to order options available in addition to the small buffet.

The hotel was amazing! The room was a lovely size with both the bed and sofa being very comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the middle of Citta Alta so cafes, restaurants and points of interest are all close by. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily. We will definitely return.

The location of the hotel was excellent - right in the centre of the old town and so easy to explore! The room was lovely and the facilities were also great. Staff were very helpful and efficient.

A perfect location… the staff did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious, a very comfortable bed, a gorgeous shower & breakfast at a table & chairs with a view out on to the square… perfect!

Perfect location for exploring Bergamo, clean smart conversion of a 14th century palace.
