Dirty and so noisy.

The comforter had cigarette holes on them. Bathroom shower acrylic was cracked. Property was a dump, old and in need of renovation. It was great location but will never stay there again

The shower was decent and the location was very good, in the centre and close to the old town. The people working there were mostly friendly especially the ladies. Unfortunately it's very noisy, we could hear clearly someone snoring nearby all night and people passing in the corridor, also the bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was poorly lit, with windows opening only to a ventilation shaft. We paid £60 for one night, wasn't worth it.

Room was old but nice. Really great location which is all that mattered for us. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect for one night stay near train station. No longer Basic but don’t expect any more

For the price and location it was excellent. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was a bit run down, but very clean. Very close to Bari Centrale station, perfect for our needs of a one night transit

We just needed an overnight stay as we arrived very late into Bari .The room was pretty basic but we expected that given the price it was very hot and humid not a great sleep. Our plane was delayed so 2am we woke up a gentleman who let us in. Thank god.

Location was good, close to bus stop to port, train station and bus station. Bari is a lovely town for a stopover, the hotel not so much. I think a full renovation is needed to be honest. No a/c, just a small fan in the corner that did nothing, so very bad night sleep. Our room, room 6 was right on reception so was noisy. Mosquitoes buzzing around the room, my daughter spotted tiny bugs on the floor of the bathroom. For the price we paid I definitely expected more.

The room was not in good condition. The drawers didn't close, the fan was broken. I have never been in a bathroom so dirty. In the bathtub there were hairs from the previous guests. The only good thing was the location and the area.

This hotel is a 2 star hotel in walking distance of the train station with a 24 hour concierge. Very convenient for a late arrival. It really is not fancy but it’s fine and clean and doesn’t present itself as any different from what it is.

This was just a one night stopover, and aren't we glad it was. The location for going places is good, close to the train station and there is a lovely street for food and drinks around the corner. Admittedly, whether it is Bari itself or by being near the train and bus station, the area itself isn't very salubrious. The accommodation itself in the other hand..... Started when we got there, we knew it wasn't a hotel, but when they claim to speak English it is good for more than "7, 2nd floor, 3 euros, tax and lift". The lift itself is very small 2 of us, rucksacks and 1 case filed it. The room itself was very basic. Generally clean enough, though the slats in the headboard were filed with dust, at least hope it was just dust. There was a small enclosed balcony between the bedroom and the shower room. Then the basic shower room. The shower water was just warm, it leaked and wasn't very clean, my Mrs almost claimed she came out dirtier than when she went in!!!!! The positive experience with the staff was the older gentleman who checked us out, not much English, but at least he smiled. At least it wasn't too expensive. Just be mindful that the pictures certainly didn't reflect the room we had, and my Mrs noted that some of the pictures seemed to match the furniture in the staff room!

Near to train and bus stations. Perfect for dining and good around. City is small so the hotel seems to be a walking distance to all places. But looks to an old hostel then a hotel .

very basic accomodation BUT a lift is available at the premisis. Very central only a few minutes walk from the airport bus, bus and train station. Receptionists are friendly especially Signor Pasquale.

Good journey

The receptionist was hard work and not warming. Other reception staff weren't too bad. The cleaners were pleasant and friendly. Did a good job in the room. Clean towels everyday.

After getting drenched in Naples our train was delayed so we arrived very late in the evening which meant the 24 hour check in was very welcome & helpful. Really convenient after a long day traveling. Older gentleman still offered us something to drink at that late hour. It's basic but very clean. Did wonder if I'd sleep with our room overlooking the roadside but bed so comfy I did. Very acceptable stop over before joining our cruise

The room was fairly clean, minus that the shower curtain was nasty with mold on it and the drain was plugged. We had the large room, there were 2 of us and plenty of space. 5 twin beds. The elevator didn't work most of the time there. The wifi wouldn't work either. I had to add 2 extra gigabytes to my phone 2 different times just to be able to check in for our flight, a couple of messages and facebook. The hotel and the room were fine but I would have rather paid $40 more a night to have a working elevator, wifi and A/C. If you don't mind using just a fan and no wifi or elevator, you should pick this place. Safe, quiet and clean.

The positives: - It is really great location that is convenient - close to Bari Central station and you can take a train straight from the airport. - You can walk to the main shopping area and older city, if you are wanting a stroll. Great restaurants in the older/historic area of Bari. - The bed linen were clean. - Hotel ordered a taxi for us to the Port to catch our cruise (even though the reception staff could not speak English). Things that needs to really be improved: - The rate is really not value for money... and quite high for what you get. I think they charge the rate as the city is busy due to Cruise Ships. - This is a Hostel... not a hotel at all. - Really really really old with no maintenance done... - Marks on walls of people writing, ceiling paint chipping... - Some rooms have to share a bathroom... so not ensuite. Read carefully. - We had a bathroom as we booked a room with 4 beds... but it was more of a closet, with the shower head above the toilet... so can be a real mess... If you need a very short stay over and on a budget and have NO expectations at all, the go ahead. Otherwise, spend extra money on a hotel... and make sure it is a hotel...

Absolutely loved this hotel. Quirky, older style, beautiful rooms and building. Will definitely be back.
