Great pool and super friendly staff.

Positon of hotel is very good, no fridge in room, very bad service at the bar, breakfast was good.

The facility is a bit dated. Very Germanic culture, not typically Italian. The pool was great and the prices are good.

Ignore the bad reviews, I was very concerned before arrival and even contemplated changing hotels, I'm glad I didn't. It is an inexpensive hotel and in my opinion good value for money. It is a little tired and in need of modernising but it is clean, rooms were of modest but good standard, air con was adequate, everything you needed was there. It is not a 4/5 star hotel, you get what you pay for! The view was lovely from our room, the pool, although in need of a bit work was clean with plenty of sunbeds. There are marks around the pool, but I certainly wasn't put off swimming in it. It is a good 15 minute walk slightly uphill from the lake but there are good paths with lighting along the main road. The guests are predominately German so breakfast was catered for their needs. That is my one negative comment, the food was not particularly nice, I wouldn't suggest going half board. I wanted a cheap holiday to Lake Garda and achieved it by staying in this hotel. Accept it for what it is and you will enjoy your stay in this lovely part of Italy.

This hotel is stuck in the 1960s and the beds were probably old back then. Cheap and cheerful for a couple nights but anymore would be torture. Also, friend had an accident on the dangerous street outside and the hotel wouldn't even call an ambulance. They turned off their lights and hid from us, even as guests. Then when we finally got back from A&E at 6am, they wouldn't allow us a late checkout without paying.

Hotel is about half mile from Garda but up a steep hill and not recomended if you have a wheelchair or child buggy.( My wife is in a wheelchair). Found the staff friendly and polite. Hotel is in dire need of updating. The furniture was dated, chipped and dirty. The wardrobe you see online is split between your room and the room next door. Not enough drawer space for clothes. Walls are paper thin so hope your neighbours next door are not noisy. Pool is six feet deep with no shallow end.Our room had only one power point working and the extractor fan in the bathroom didnt work and despite me telling management about this on our first day they didnt fix them. The air conditioning was turned off at 10am until 4pm NOT GOOD ENOUGH when outside temperature was mid to high thirties. Breakfast was the usual continental fare and served between 7.30 and 9.30. Not good if you want a longer lie in.This hotel caters for mostly German tour bus patrons and I would not recomend this hotel. There are better hotels in the area. This hotel would also benefit from a fridge in the rooms. A lot of other hotels have this facility.

For a 3 star hotel the hotel royal lacked a decent breakfast all the served was hot milk bread a few cereals and bockfurst. The waiter service for hot drinks was appalling and often we would receive the hot drinks after we had finished eating. The rooms were basic but clean. When in the rooms you can hear everything from the rooms around you including their bathroom visits which was off-putting. The hotel staff however were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotels vibe is disappointing. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location close to the lake front amenities night life and transport. For that we thoughroughly enjoyed our stay in such a pleasant Italian town.

Hotel is not well signed and was difficult to find even using a sat nav. However, once booked in all was well. Clean room, facilities all functioned. Balcony (not very private), but good views even from non-lake side of hotel. A kettle in the room would have been useful so Brits can make tea also a fridge aand extra pillows, (continental ones are amazingly thin). Didn't dine at hotel as lakeside restaurants seemed much mor alluring than the basement one at the hotel. However, the breakfast buffet was fine with good service,

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer sehr ringhörig. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist aber okay.

Nära ner till sjön och restauranger. Stort plus med en pool. Härlig balkong.

Vi var et par, der alene havde behov for et værelse i et par dage. Til det formål var værelset/hotellet rigtig fint. Vi benyttede ikke morgenmaden, restauranten eller andre af hotellets "tilbud". Rigtig gode parkeringsmuligheder - både udendørs på en stor p-plads og i hotellets p-kælser.

Zu wenig Steckdosen am Zimmer und kein Kühlschrank

Es war alles perfekt, auch das tolle Pool.

Very guestfree workers in the reseption and at the restaurant. Italians are very charming and service minded. Location was very good, nicely priced. Breakfast was as expected. What i didnt like too much was hard beds with a small pillow

Struttura datata, camere rumorose, pulizia insufficiente, personale non molto gentile e disponibile, non sono molto customer oriented.

Zimmer etwas veraltet aber geräumig und sauber. Hellhörigkeit war etwas störend.

Til trods for sen ankomst var værelset ikke klar før 1 time efter. Meget slidt hotel hvor der var så lydt at man troede andre gæster kom ind af døren og stod i værelset. Kaos under morgenmad hvor man blev bedt om at finde et andtét sted at sidde da de var ved at dække op til aftensmad. Ikke et hotel til genbesøg

Der er ikke meget royalt over dette hotel Slit, servicen ved morgenmaden var ikke eksisterende, den der var uforskammede. Receptionen var udsøgt godt og lovende for en godt hotel🤔

Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel ist doch sehr in die Jahre genommen.
