We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was stunning and a short 20min walk along the lake shore to Malcesine. The hotel bistro was amazing! The food was beautiful and delicious. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, particularly, Octavian, who was delightful! Our room was spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing was a kettle but we were given one as soon as we asked at reception. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge amount of choice and the food was so fresh and delicious! The private spa experience was amazing, and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, an exceptional place to stay!

Fabulous property right on the water’s edge. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, eaten overlooking Lake Garda. Beach towels provided to laze on the sun loungers either by the pool or admiring the lake view - simply stunning! Would definitely recommend this hotel without question, one of the best I’ve stayed at.

Superb location, great layout, incredible breakfast fair, wonderful staff. The view from the hotel was to die for.
Only minus was the restaurant was rather pricey and the menu choice needed more traditional Italian dishes, of reasonable portions.

We have been to the Hotel for 4 times and I have recommended it to personal friends and family who in turn also had an awesome time. You can’t fault the location, the staff are all friendly and keen to provide you with anything you may need to make your stay one to remember. If you want to walk to the town you can and it’s a stunning walk along the lake. If you want to get there quicker the hotel will gladly lend you a bike or two for free again to make the difference!!! Breakfast is great and is the bar service, especially by the pool. The only slight negative I can think of is that there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. But you do have a fridge and there is a little shop just up the road. You even have English tv which was a new addition for this year and makes it feel more like home. We will be going again next year.

Our first trip without kids in 7yrs and this hotel did not disappoint. Tranquillity was everywhere, whether it was on our balcony overlooking the lake, on the open veranda for breakfast or by table light for a high end dinner we were always relaxed and well looked after.
Breakfast caters for everyone and the dinner menu is very specialist with many meals prepared at the table. I would only say the meals were good but not all dishes were worth the extra you pay compared to town.
Finally it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Malcesnie and a beautiful walk day and night that helps build your appetite for all the Italian food.

Very good experience. Wonderful view and very clean. Room well appointed. Air-con tricky to work. Complimentary breakfast excellent. Reception team very helpful. Housekeeping put a lovely message on our mirror, recognising our 30th anniversary, along with 2 glasses of Champagne delivered to our room. Very nice touch. Evening dinners limited menu and quite expensive. This was the only slight negative of the whole experience.

My family of 5 (3 kids, 8, 12 and 14) loves Hotel Val Di Sogno. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and overlook the gorgeous lake. The food is excellent, including the included breakfast buffet, lunch by the pool and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pool area was great too. No complaints, this place is great. 25 minute beautiful walk by the lake to Malcesine.

This is a friendly and welcoming hotel with excellent facilities in a great location . Our room was very well appointed and had a balcony with stunning views of the lake.
The staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help you get the most out of your holiday. Special mention to Isabella on reception who greeted us every day with a smile.
Hot and cold Breakfast options were available although a little more variety (especially hot food) would have been good.
