Stayed at this B&B from 22/05/2025 to 26/05/2025. Very clean, secure and quiet. Very warm, accommodating and friendly host. B&B has a home from home feel. Host was very helpful with what to do and where to go. Arrange transport and transfers, even got to borrow her umbrella of which I lost ! Missed times for breakfast but she still went out her way to make sure we did. She checked in with us daily and regularly. I will definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much Ivana.

Ivana's B&B is in an excellent location. It is walking distance to the sites as well as great restaurants (and gelato!). Note that it is a B&B, but you are left to yourself once checked in. Ivana was great and helped me with free street parking, which can be a hassle if you're not local!

At first when i booked the apartment i wasnt too sure because im used to hotels but i have to say i cant fault it. The owner ivana was very welcoming treating me not only as a guest but like a family member welcomed me to her home offered me a lovely room, showed me what to do in catania and also where to eat. Lovely big size room good air con and nice art work. Shower big enough too.

The access into the courtyard is a little tricky. It has a facade wall that leads into a courtyard, and no one was picking up the call button for the B&B. I had to wait for someone to come through from another residential apartment and they let me in. Once in, I waited about 1/2 hour before a kind gentleman opened up the B&B and he even carried my suitcase up the 2 flights of stairs because the elevator wasn't working. (so nice!) Once inside it feels like a homey, kinda well lived-in apartment. It felt completely safe with other residents there as you have your own locked room and your own private bathroom. You have to access three different keys for entry each time, but it was easy once you got the hang of it. It was a little chilly while I was there, but the heater worked great. The room itself is rather spacious. Besides the bed, it has a desk, TV, wardrobe to hang clothes, 2 side end tables and a small area with double windows to look out over the street. They serve you breakfast each morning. The only recommendation I would give is they should update their bedding as it seemed too worn out, otherwise it was a great place to stay for the convenience of walkability of the city and the cost.

Behind unprepossing street facade,this provides very comfortable accommodation. Ivana is an excellent,caring and accommodating host. Accommodation is in an active family environment but there is excellent separation from the delightful family. Room is spacious with adjacent sitting room. Cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast is typical Italian. Location is very good mid-way between the railway station and the centre (cathedral) of the city both less than 15 minutes easy walk away. There are plenty of eating possibilities very close by ranging from simple bites to trattoria to fine fish restaurant linked to the BnB. Payment is by cash only - no credit card facility. In all,a very happy place to stay.

The lady in charge was incredibly nice and helpful with great suggestions for sightseeing and food. She prepared a great breakfast including fruits, yogurts, nuts, cereals, eggs etc. She is very well traveled and i really enjoyed speaking with her. I met some nice people there at breakfast from italy and spain. The room was big and the common room was huge. Great location. Close to cathedrals and markets and bus and train station

Place a little hard to find due to the scaffolding.
Was able to park the motorcycle when unpacking. Street parking was close by.
Nice big room, and bathroom. Though shower curtain should be 360.
There is a knack to opening the front door of the building ;)

The room was very spacious, clean and with a small terrace from which to the left could be seen the beautiful Teatro Massimo Bellini, location wise very close to the main walking streets and about a 10 minute walk from Catania Central Station. Ivana is a really nice lady. She was flexible with arrival times and can arrange pickup from the airport. She even helped us with our lost luggage.
The room was very spacious and clean. The B&B is close to the city centre, surrounded by restaurants and fast food places. We can highly recommend the pannini place just on the other side of the street.
The breakfast is minimal and not really organised, more or less self serviced.
PS: There is a friendly cat living in the B&B. :)

The location is great and the host is very kind. She was double booked and we only stayed 1 night and we're moved to anouther B and B. I only rated this slightly lower than I normally would because of the noise. The rooms over look a beautiful square that the Opera house is located at. Very scenic during the day but at night the bars drag there tables and chairs into the square and the party starts until about 4:00 am. Either ear plugs should be worn or get up and join the festivities.

Ivana's B&B is a great little place in a traditional block of flats. Nothing to special from the outside, but lovely inside. Rooms are very large, clean and have all the key facilities. Included is en-suite, aircon, wifi, tv and breakfast.
It's in the perfect location a short walk to main sites, bars and restaurants. The airport bus and bus/train stations are close.
Ivana is a great host who will do her best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
As B&b's go this has everything you need and is good value for money.
There is no sign for the Bnb so look for no 10 opposite a pedestrian area and a big gate. Ivana has a buzzer and will come let you in.
