Die angepriesene "wow experience" war da, leider aber sehr negativ. Das an sich tolle Interior von Matteo Thun ist leider schlecht unterhalten und in die Jahre gekommen: Defekte Lüftung/Klima, Lotterie bei der Findung der Duschtemperatur, bei Ankunft leere Hoteldusch- und Shampooflaschen. Sauberkeit liess sehr zu wünschen übrig, eine Grundreinigung wäre längst fällig. Die Bettdecken erinnern an Jugendherbergen, die Bettlaken hatten sogar Löcher. Der Poolbereich ist sehr hip gestaltet, leider war er geschlossen, obwohl er nach Timetable geöffnet sein sollte. Bei einem Zimmerpreis für ein Triple von EUR 500 empfinden wir die Kosten für die Benützung des Schwimmbades von EUR 180 pro Tag (3Personen) als Abzocke (vor allem, da dies auf der Buchungsplattform gut versteckt wird). Für die Abendreception würden wir Minussterne geben. Alles in Allem das Schlechteste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, welches wir in einem Hotel je erlebt haben.

The reason booked this hotel as it had a pool. We stayed 3 nights, first two days it rained so it was closed. The third day it was sunny by lunchtime and by 3.30 the pool staff had dried everything and put out towels. Our room overlooked the pool so we had watched it being prepared. We asked at reception if we could go up to the pool but were told it was closed. We showed them pictures it was ready and the sun was shining but they insisted we could not use it! Very disappointing. Your comments would be appreciated. Pictures available if required.

The hotel was lovely from a design perspective, very modern and funky. Some of the staff weren’t very friendly, particularly the girl who checked us in at reception, not sure she knew how to smile. The pool area was cool and one of the reasons I booked it, but the drinks were very expensive…it’s the first time I’ve paid €20 for a Sprite and Coke! There wasn’t much to do nearby and we couldn’t find any family friendly restaurants so I’d probably stay more central next time. We had a nice time but it ended up being an expensive couple of days.

The hotel itself is very nice. The most upsetting part about our stay was that we specifically booked this hotel for the pool, and the pool was closed and rented out for a private party. That would have been nice to know ahead of time before booking, as we most likely would have went with another hotel.

Nhow Milano advertises a spectacular rooftop pool with a cool bar. However, it was closed for hotel customers due to a private party during our stay :( The hotel is sirtuated in an exciting area of Milano, rooms are average, reception and breakfast are far from reaching the standard of nhow Rotterdam. If you intend booking due to the spectacular rooftop bar with pools better confirm that it‘s open for hotel customers or go for alternative hotels.

Few issues needed to be sorted- 1.plug points didn’t work apart from one near the door 2.no milk for coffee topped up- so had to make calls everyday for it 3.bulb didn’t work in the bathroom, so wasn’t well lit.

I recently stayed at nhow Milan and overall had a positive experience. The hotel is tucked away in a quieter part of the city, which made for peaceful evenings. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and responsive throughout the stay. The hotel gym was functional and well-maintained, a definite plus for those who like to stay active while travelling. My first room, however, was uncomfortably hot. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening by the time I realised, so a room change wasn’t practical that night. The next morning, the staff acted quickly to resolve the issue and moved me to another room. While the second room was still warmer than I would have preferred, it was more comfortable than the first. On the upside, it was spacious, and the blackout curtains were excellent, ensuring a good night’s sleep. In summary, nhow Milan offers stylish accommodation, friendly service, and a quiet location, though it would benefit from more effective room temperature control.
