Hotel is great and conveniently located near public transportation. It is not extremely close to the major city attractions but you can easily get there other ways. Staff was always helpful and friendly!

Love the rooftop breakfasts and after a late night the rooftop was open for live jazz and after dinner drinks. Would stay again

My second year staying here. Just a short walk to and from train station (Rome Termini). Decent price. Comfy clean rooms. Great rooftop views. Short 10 mins walk to Colosseum. Will go back again next year.

Wonderful service

Warning to American travelers, do not stay in this hotel. That is, unless you like hard thin beds and mold in your bathroom. I slept better in the coach seat on a 10 hour flight to Rome than I did on this bed. I booked 2 nights at the Major for my stay in Rome. I could not sleep the first night because of the discomfort of the bed. I went to the front desk at 5 am to ask if I could speak to a manager. Of course, the manager never arrives at the hotel that day and best I could do is phone him to discuss the issues. I asked to leave the hotel early and be refunded the second night. The manager refused. I also cited issues re visible mold in the bathroom. The hotel refused to let me out of the reservation. Inflexible customer service, terrible finishes, uncomfortable, and dirty. Don’t waste your money here. When I packed up to leave, I found stains on the sheets that weren’t mine. I ended up leaving and moving to a different hotel for the second night at my own cost. Really unhappy overall

"our AC DO NOT WORK for the whole night"....when I found wasn't working around 10:30 pm after walk around the Coliseum area on a nice and HOT summer afternoon you just think in take a shower and go to your cool bed...right after I spoke with the desk people they just told me the was no more rooms available and there is no chance to find someone who fix our AC,also they told me I'll have to contact the manager next day for a refund something never happened bc I did an EXPEDIA reservation, when I contacted EXPEDIA they blame the Hotel saying the hotel will offer me a DISCOUNT my next visit... so was kind a HOT POTATO GAME...I'll NEVER RESERVE with Expedia or this Hotel...
