It was a very small room so my very large suitcase had to sit in the entry partially blocking the bathroom door. Size is ok for one person. It was clean and comfortable. Staff are lovely and attentive. Location is perfect. Near train stations, convenience stores and many food options. Would stay here again.

Stayed 10 nights at APA Akasaka Mitsuke, and it was a pleasant stay overall! Location: Easy to get to anywhere in Tokyo! Well connected with 3 nearby stations, all within 10-15 mins (even for slow walkers). These 3 stations connect you to at least 5 different train lines, which bring you to almost anywhere major within Tokyo - especially the Marunouchi, Ginza and Chiyoda lines. Room: Size is extremely small as mentioned in other reviews - I was a solo traveller with 3 suitcases, one carry-on and two check-in sized luggages. You have to be really tidy and creative with space use to fully open them. Even the bathroom was a modular and small, but overall the amenities were just right for a no-frills stay. Cleanliness-wise, there's still dust and mold even after housekeeping... Service: I have to say with the minimal interactions I've had with the staff, they were extremely helpful and easy to deal with. With the exception during check-in when the female receptionist merely stood by while this other machine was going off beside me... But again my interactions were entirely in Japanese so take that into consideration. Amenities: Nice to have common amenities such as microwave and vending machines, but there's no laudromat within the hotel unlike other properties so it's a miss here for longer-term guests. As it's also within Akasaka, where there's tons of bars, nights tend to get very noise with music blasting too.

This hotel is in a good location in terms of restaurants, but beware - it feels more like a hostel than a hotel. At 4am I was woken up by a group of late-night party returners who were laughing and shouting in the corridor. The rooms are tiny, even by Tokyo standards, and it feels a little dated. Breakfast was very simple with not a huge choice. Overall it was OK, but I’m glad I only had to stay there two nights.

A fantastic location, a few minutes walk from Akasaka Mitsuke subway station, and surrounded by LOTS of restaurants and bars. BUT, the room is teeny tiny, you literally cannot swing a cat! And the wall paper was visably dirty. Is a good hotel choice that is reasonably priced if you don’t plan to spend any anount of time in the room.

No significant complaints. Good value for money here. I wish the room was a tad more spacious and the hallways definitely showed significant signs of wear, but otherwise, clean, safe, comfortable. Rooms are small, but that's Tokyo. Super central location. 2 minute walk to metro line that connects to many main Tokyo lines. Would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and close to a train station but wouldn’t stay at this APA hotel again. The rooms and hallways were extremely outdated compared to other APA hotels, and compared to the recently renovated lobby. They might be updating soon, but in October 2025, it was not good. If you sleep warm, and like the AC on, be warned it might be a “heat day”. If it’s cold outside, the hotel will not let you use the AC. They program the thermostat to just stay on heat. When I asked the front desk about it, since I thought it was broken, they said it was a “heat day”. It was overcast the whole time we were there so most of the days we did not have the thermostat on since it was only “heat”. Additionally, the bathrooms had mold in it. The first day we checked in, the next day, they were performing bathroom maintenance. That wasn’t an issue, but nothing seemed to have changed. Shower head tubing was leaking extremely bad whenever we used it. I’m sad about this experience because I like APA hotels but just wouldn’t stay at this location again. (Leaving 3 stars because I do not like leaving 2)
