The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff very kind but I was disappointed they wouldn’t call a taxi for my daughter. We asked for late check that was approved until 2pm but when we came back to our room after 1pm our keys were deactivated. I think it was harder because no one understood English that much. The walk to Temma station is short but sometimes there aren’t sidewalks and there are no street lights. It is in stop from Osaka station.

WARNING!!! THE WORST HOTEL ON THE PLANET!!!! Firstly I checked into APA hotel Osaka Temma and decided to go to the public bath in the hotel as it was quite cold outside. As soon as I stepped inside the sauna I was greeted by 3 men fondling themselves which totally disgusted me. I’m like what sort of hotel is this. Oh they kept going, they didn’t stop because I walked in. Secondly, which I think is 100 times worse than what just happened to me, they don’t allow guests of the hotel to have friends or relatives in the rooms. I’m like I paid for that room and you’re telling me I can’t have friends over? I have no words for that. That’s just crazy. Yes I booked the room for 1 person to sleep the nights I was staying but at 4pm you still don’t allow me to have friends in the room after me telling them 3 times it is just me sleeping in the room. I told them we are just hanging out in the room in private until dinner time and my guest is not sleeping the night so what’s the problem. I’m like what sort of hotel doesn’t allow guests to invite friends and relatives over? Just this hotel!!! They told me I have to stay in the lobby with my guests and not the room. I asked where is the lounge and we can hang out there. They said we have no lounge so you can stay in the lobby. I said I’m not sitting in the lobby and chatting with my friend in front of complete strangers. IT’S A DISGUSTING HOTEL WITH DISCUSSING ACTS GOING ON IN THE SAUNA JUST A WARNING TO ALL POTENTIAL PEOPLE. WARN ELSEWHERE

Having stayed at other APA hotels, I didn’t realize that this one had smoking floors. So when I checked in, I was put in a smoking floor because I wasn’t paying attention when I was booking online. However, the service was really nice, after I checked in I called the desk to ask if I can change to a non-smoking floor the next day, the staff was really nice and allowed me to do that. I really appreciate that since I have really bad nose problems.

Hotel is a short walk to the Temma JR station as well as a slew of food places which is great and convenient. Property is well kept, they do have a restaurant inside that serves brunch. Room was cozy. We got a deluxe room which was bigger so that was a plus. Staff was super friendly and check in was quick. They do clean your room every third day of your stay which I think is good for hygiene purposes, but you can have your room made anytime. Overall, a great stay. They

1. Outside appearance of hotel is nice. 2. The minute you step into the hotel it REEKS of curry. They have a hardcore Indian restaurant on the first floor and the spices are overwhelming beyond belief. That smell will NEVER go away and it also trails into the elevators. and btw, they serve curry as part of the breakfast buffet with little to NO westwrn style foods except a small case of bread and super runny scrambled eggs qith fish broth in them. 3. Some of the outlets in the room did not even work. 4. APA Hotel chain is infamous for mold in their bathrooms. I have never been in any APA hotel chain that didn't have the same mold issue. 5. The TV was mounted on the wall in such an inconvenient spot that u had to turn ur head 90 degrees to watch. 6. Curtains had blood? Or some red stains on them. 7. Amenities were plentiful 8. Public bath on 2nd floor is free to use 9. I still cant get over the disgusting curry smell (and I like curry) but that odor kills the overall ambience of a hotel the minute u walk in....

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, but small. I used the laundry service in the spa and found it very easy and convenient to use. If you arrive early, be aware that they won't let you check in a minute early. This is a little bit of a walk to the metro station, but I was prepared for that. Overall, this was a nice hotel, but next time I'd find something closer to the metro station.

There are not many options for solo travellers, most room are designed for 2+. APA has rooms for single occupant and the price was pretty good comparing to other hotels in the area, not to say there is a fantastic onsen downstairs! The onsen has both outdoor and indoor baths, it does get a bit crowded sometimes, so I wouldn't recommend going between 9-11pm. The room was very clean and the bathroom has a bath in there. The size of the room is decent for one person in the city, however there is not enough room to lay my luggage down fully. The location was good but not excellent, 8-10 mins walk to nearest Jr and train lines. All the staff were very courteous and helpful.
