APA Hotel Saitama Yatsuka Ekimae

Good

I stayed at this hotel for 23 days in April 2025 and was pleasantly surprised by the room size. I expected a tiny space but had enough room to walk around, lay out my suitcase, and stay organized. The table was spacious enough for my backpack, another bag, and even some clothes. The location was convenient, with restaurants, a supermarket, and a 7-Eleven nearby making it easy to get breakfast or lunch. DAISO and the train station was just steps away, Travel times varied—about 30–45 minutes to Asakusa and over an hour to Shibuya and Shinjuku, which was manageable. The staff were friendly and helpful. They quickly assisted when I accidentally locked the bathroom door and even gave me a paper clip to change my SIM card. Each morning, they greeted me warmly and provided fresh towels and a new toothbrush. Communicating through Google Translate worked just fine. The sink water was safe to drink, which surprised me at first, but I had no issues. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. The hotel was affordable, which allowed me to stay much longer than I could have if I booked in Shibuya or Asakusa. I would definitely stay here again.

Very near to Yatsuka Station, Quiet surrounding area. Friendly staff. Just limited eatery places.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming and helpful, i felt really well taken carw.of,.its.suler close to the train station with easy connections to central Tokyo and Narita International Airport. The room was really clean and the on site restaurant privided great food too, i really enjoyed my stay in Yatsuka.

If you’re looking for a hotel for your stay in Tokyo. This is your place, the staff is very friendly helpful.The hotel is about a 4 min walk to the train station. There are two familymarts and one 711 within a 5 min walk.Neighborhood safe, clean and quiet . Will be definitely stay here again on our next Trip.

This APA is located by a nearby hospital and was a great walking distance and acted as a nice home base as I visited the hospital daily. There is a market nearby for your food and amenity needs. Some nice restaurants and izakaya in the neighborhood. The rooms are clean, though the laundry room smelled a little musty.

Everything at the hotel was amazing!!! We were a 4 minute walk to the train station. The only negative I have was that it was an hour train ride to Shabuya. There were restaurants and markets near the hotel which was very convenient as well. We enjoyed our stay here.

Was exellent everything

This hotel is everything you need for a place to come and rest. For the affordable price you get a nice clean and quiet room with a clean bathroom and a queen bed. The room is not large, but typical for a Japanese business hotel. The personnel is nice but doesn't speak English, which for me wasn't a problem. The hotel is very close to the Yatsuka station. The are some convenient stores, Daiso and inexpensive chain dining places right at the station.

I liked that next to the bed was a HUB for charging and even an HDMI that connects to the TV

The toilet is terrible. Old and the bathtub sink was stuck. The bed was so so but the pillows very uncomfortable.

The noodle hour and breakfast is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good service. Excellent value. Breakfast is great.

Overall a pleasant stay. Free dinner service on weekdays is a nice change from the typical free breakfast. Free ramen at night was also nice. The water tap in my room had some mineral build up (at least that's what I think it was). Spent most of my time out of the room so it wasn't a major issue. Would recommend this place.

Internet was broken. Breakfast was bad. Area is boring.

As far as Business hotels go, clean near the station, good shower, free WiFi, Great Price

Hotel is walking distance from JR station. Quiet neighborhood but nothing to do/see much. Hotel is thoughtful as it provides free coffee, breakfast, dinner, and supper. Plenty of choice for breakfast, incl Japanese n western. Simple dinner n supper but presentable. Chef was friendly n observant. Unhappy incidence at supper time on 21/1/2016. Dining area was quite crowded n staff in black uniform became quite rude in controlling guests in queue. Very bad to have such people in hotel industry n damaging to name of hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan, it was by far the most roomy.the service was exceptional, and they were very kind. Wifi speed was adequate, and the breakfast was the best if the three comparable hotels we stayed at. Cute coffee shop with taiyaki nearby, as well as a fun Korean restaurant bar around the corner. Very close to the train station, (maybe a three minute walk). If you are looking for a cheap option that is only 30* minutes by train to many other cities, this is your spot.
