The breakfast was great, and the facility had a great sauna. The room condition is old but pretty clean. The only big uncomfortable thing was that when I checked in, some of the staff women who spoke English didn't help or explain at all. She pointed at the check-in machine even though they had an information sheet about the hotel. She didn't tell me, looked angry, and made me uncomfortable, but I saw her smiling at a Japanese guest by that time. However, other staff members are pretty kind and pleasant.

Hot springs experience in busy Ikebukuro area.
Great food - late night Ramen, popsicles after Bath and spa and wonderful breakfast with so many varieties. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very uncomfortable with one piece of luggage and 2 small carryons. We added an extra day with separate reservations and we had to remove all our belongings and check in later to a different room.

Our stay was amazing! The onset was very relaxing and everything was super clean! This hotel is also very central to major stations and lots of things are within walking distance. I think our only thing to note is that the pillows are a bit on the harder side, but other than that our stay was very comfortable!

Wonderful hotel that was conveniently located to many shops & restaurants while also highly walkable to Ikebukuro Station. Area was quiet & safe. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, amenities were generous & the restaurant was excellent.

While the hotel room is small, it’s all you need if you are spending most of your time exploring. The hotel was clean and had amenities readily available and staff were great. Our group also took every advance of using the Onsen as it was an equipped with a bath, sauna and cold plunge.

Overall, the inn is excellent but the room w a full bed size for 2 was tight. No where to really spread out and unpack luggage. However, we managed.
This room would be adequate for 1 person. We could not get a larger room as the inn was fully booked.Reccomend booking a larger room for 2 people.

Onsen in the morning and onsen at night...YES PLEASE! Woke up in the morning for fresh coffee (Machine makes delicious coffee but opens from 6 am-11pm). Went to the onsen for my morning hot/cold plunge....Ikebukuro Station is about a 10-15 minute walk...walking distance to a plethora of restaurants/shops....easily access Shibuya/Shinjuku or anywhere from the subway...free probiotic drink in the morning, ramen after 9:30 pm, ice cream in the evening....shampoo/conditioner/lotion is amazing at the onsen....the hotel room is small- walk in and there is your bed and little room to walk around and don't bring lots of luggage...but shower is big enough and at this budget price, its so worth it! Very convenient place to explore Tokyo on a budget...I would opt to stay here due to the onsen availability period. It's so relaxing to cold/hot plunge and be nourished by minerals.....my favorite restaurant in the area was Gyukatsu Motomura in Ikebukuro, no wait at all while the one in Shibuya always has long lines. I would definitely stay here again or any Dormy brand Inn!
