Hotel Grand Terrace Obihiro

This was a great overnight option as we passed through on our ski trip. Enjoyed the onsen and breakfast. Parking on site was convenient.

A reasonable place to stay for 1 night close to the station and restaurants. I drove so parking was available for 600Y. It's a bit worn so lino in lift needs replacing. Room was pretty standard( nice light wall paper so not as dark as some places) although very warm but I was able to open the window to cool it down. Didn't use any hotel facilities as I left early. I did sleep very well even though the mattress was a bit soft. Reception staff pleasant.

No one in Obihiro speaks English so make sure your google translate is up and running before you land. I had set up the hotel shuttle to pick us up but no one came. I had to use a taxi to the hotel which will run you about $74USD. I sat in the lobby for 40 minutes because the staff couldn’t locate my reservation. They kept informing me (via google translate) that I had no reservation. Once they finally found it they checked me in. The rooms in the photos on website make the rooms look bigger then they actually are. There is no room for pieces of luggage. You have to keep your luggage against the side of the wall in order to have enough room to enter the bathroom. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and make sure if your planning on doing any laundry you bring plenty of Yen with you. The dryers are very underpowered so drying your clothes will take at least $10 USD or more.

The hotel is a bit dated and most of the receptionist are unable to speak English. The location is excellent within walking distance to obihiro station and nearby fujimaru store. There is free wifi available. Parking is 600 yen per night. Cleanliness can be further improved as there are stains on bedsheets.

A very old hotel with small and narrow rooms. But it’s really cheap. So it’s fair.

Very good loaction. We only stayed 1 night and Obihiro surprised us. There was a festival in the streets below. Bonus. Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

Good business style hotel. It’s location is perfect for visiting Obihiro. Close to the station and nightlife area. Easy parking too. Service was efficient and adequate.room comfortable.

Located near Sapporo Station. Hotel staff is nice.

Room was tidy, was a bit of a squeeze with three though. Free bike hire was an added bonus, a good way to quickly have a look around the area

The hotel is only a few minutes away from the station and is in the center of the liveliest part of Obihiro with lots of great restaurants and izakayas nearby. The onsen is small but is a nice way to relax on a snowy night in Obihiro.

A comfortable western hotel in the heart of Obihiro. Ok spa. Great seafood restaurant across the street.
