Hotel Hillarys Shinsaibashi

Happy Stay of 5 nights at Shinsaibashi. Location is convenient if you are a big fan of shopping. I also very impressed by the buffet breakfast they served every morning. There is enough variety of food, personally, i like the Japanese style appetizers, grilled fish, tofu burgers and more. Great Job, Best Team ever.

There is no coffee in the morning unless you purchase breakfast. It is available at 10 am.

Loved the Japanese breakfast. Hotel was located in a very convenient location and walkable to all the shopping areas. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

The area is a bit red light district, we traveled as a family and were in bed by 11 p.m. in the morning the trash was being picked off the street and the smells that lingered in the air were unpleasant. But, this is Osaka and is different from the rest of Japan.

Convenient place to rest while explore rhe woder Osaka area. Very central to Dotonburi, Shinsaibashi, Amerika-mura and Den-den town, which good metro connections to the rest of Osaka. Bed very comfortable. Initially, Ihad worries about small beds, but not the case here.

We have a good time in this hotel. Walking distance to all attractions, stopping, dining and friendly at Staffs.

Pros: Good location close to subway stations. A hot spa is available. Free coffee, water, tea, and bread are available from afternoon to evening. But i wish there was available from morning to midnight… Cons: Staff has poor manners. Not suitable for business trips. Unclean. Noisy. Overall, my experience during my stay was not as good as I expected. I asked to make up a room, but it wasn't cleaned properly. A used towel was left on the bed, which I put it on the floor when I went out. Of course, the bed was not made. I called the front desk and asked them to clean the room the next day. One morning, I was in the hot spa when the male cleaning staff came into the women's area, which was really uncomfortable. The elevators for guests and employees are not separate. Their employees are quite noisy in the elevator. The desk in the room had a glass tabletop that required a mouse pad. During the night, it was very noisy outside. There was a club or bar right in front of the hotel. The tables for breakfast were terrible; there were several rectangular meeting tables set along the wall, so you had to face the boring, pale wall while eating breakfast. Though there was an area with cafe tables, it was usually full. It's not suitable for a business trip. I won't stay here again.

The hotel was in a good area, walkable to Dontobiri and train stations. Rooms are clean as well.

Location is nice but hotel is in poor condition. Room had an odor and smelled like smoke. Also too small. Glad I was there only 2 nights

Clean organize and Friendly'

Great hotel in excellent location within walking distance of Dotonbori, tons of restaurants & train stations. Superb staff with efficient & friendly service. Tasty buffet breakfast with daily differences.

Convenient place. Everything was basically in walking distance, especially shopping.

I like the location, the staff were very helpful, free breakfast, right in Shinshibashi shopping area, near Dotonbori, Namba, walkable to the meeting place of day tours, walkable to Kuromon Market, so many places to eat. The downside was the layout of the room, to tight to open a big luggage and the pillows.

We were in Osaka for one night and this hotel was perfectly situated for what we wanted to do. It was a few blocks from Dotonbori Street for food and vibes, and America-mura neighborhood for our thrift shopping experience. The staff were very nice and courteous. The room was clean and cozy. We watched Japanese tv to unwind. The downstairs lounge had complimentary coffee, tea, and flavored water, plus bread rolls at certain times of day. They stored our luggage while we kept exploring. It was a great home base.

The spa was amazing with hot and cold bath and a dry sauna.
