Second time staying here and always excellent experience! The staff are friendly and helpful. They even let me check in earlier because the room has been ready. The location is in the city center but it's a business area, so it's quiet but has a lot of restaurants, cafes, and konbinis. Every time I go to Tokyo, I will always stay here!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. When the wifi is not connected, the staff immediately installed a new router in the room 😀. The room is clean although not too big. On the right and left there are food stalls and family mart. Very strategic, close to the station and subway

Hotels near the Tokyo shuttle bus stop to the airport are only around 15-20 minutes, on foot and close to the train station. At that time we arrived at the hotel around 12 noon and we were allowed to enter the room even though it wasn't at check-in. The staff is friendly and can speak English. The room is small, but enough for 2 people. The bathroom has hot water and a bathtub. Available mobile phones that we can carry out and can be used for the internet. This hotel does not provide breakfast but coffee is available in the hotel lobby in the morning. Around the hotel there is a family of marts and Yoshinoya. If you walk a little more towards Ningyocho St, there are many restaurants at affordable prices.

It’s an older hotel so don’t expect modern amenities, but the room was fine and clean. It was a good value in central Tokyo. There are only 2 older laundry machines for the whole hotel so you might need to wait and the dryers can be very slow.

The properly was located in a great area. Property is old, the bathroom needs a major renovation. Have to take a big step to get in and the bathtub you have to climb over. An accident waiting to happen if you are an older person. The guest room doors does not close on its own and use metal keys. There was a guest who left their key in the lock all night.

We always stay at horidome villa when on holiday in Tokyo, in fact we’re going back again in a few days after a break in the mountains. We love it for many reasons, aside for being easily accessible, reasonably priced and its great cleanliness, the staff are excellent! They can speak English very well if you need it ( I don’t) and are very helpful with requests. We fully recommend staying there. The free morning coffee is a bonus!

Firstly I hate being the person who complains but if I’m honest in the 6 weeks I’ve travelled in Japan over the last 2 years this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Firstly, there was a broken hanger and pair of slippers left behind from the previous person, the fridge didn’t work, even on the lowest setting everything kept freezing so I couldn’t use it to how I would have wanted to. The bathroom was also covered in mold. The tile, the tub, the shower curtain. I always travel with Lysol wipes for my phone and I’m glad I did because I just ended up cleaning everything myself instead of going through the hassle of navigating the language barrier for something like this. Also, since the windows didn’t open, even though it was a non smoking room the ventilation for the building was so I would be smoked out in my room and had to counter it with the fan and freshener spray provided in the lobby. I was there for 9 days and I would say for the price in a pinch it would be fine for a day or two. The laundry was convenient with free detergent which was a bonus and the staff was kind (I forgot my key in the door since they are physical keys and had to call the front desk with my limited Japanese and they were great for that! Super kind) but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I also witnessed on one of my last nights a couple confronting the front desk with a pillow that was “smelly and unacceptable” so I know my room isn’t just a one off.
