Nice clean modern hotel with close proximity to Osaka station. Free drinks at lounge at certain time slots. Hassle free check out via TV. Will choose this hotel for future stays

We stayed at Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda for several nights and were deeply disappointed by several serious issues that ruined our trip. Most upsetting was the incident at the evening self-serve dining area. The hotel provides beautiful yukata-style robes (which we understood as appropriate loungewear in many Japanese hotels), and my wife wore one to dinner as it felt modest and traditional. While serving herself at the buffet, staff immediately approached her and sternly told her “no nightwear allowed” and demanded she change immediately if she wanted to eat. This interrupted our meal and humiliated her, taking 10-15 minutes to go back and change. What made this feel discriminatory was that we observed a Japanese local guest wearing what appeared to be the exact same yukata-style robe, serving herself food and sitting with her family without any staff intervening or saying a word. The contrast was stark and impossible to ignore—it strongly appeared that the rule was enforced selectively based on our appearance as Americans, not uniformly applied. This left us feeling racially targeted and unwelcome. Additionally, staff often came across as pretentious and judgmental. Upon check-in and walking through common areas, we received cold looks or stares from some employees instead of basic greetings or smiles, which we didn’t experience at other hotels in Japan. It felt like we were being judged simply for being American tourists.

The mattress was very hard 😩 the rest was ok but I don’t know how it’s rate it four stars. Is more like 3 stars.

We chose the hotel that was close to Osaka Station & within walking distance. Our room was very clean and modern and reasonably sized for two people with a good view. There was tea and coffee and an evening snack available for free. The breakfast was extensive with a mix of Japanese and western food which was a highlight. 3pm check-in is strictly enforced.

Efficient and helpful staff. A plethora of toiletries available. We enjoyed the traditional spa very much. Mostly Japanese breakfast-limited western items.

There was nice and the room was enough space.

My stay was very average. Nothing impressive about the hotel. Only good part is the location is near the airport limousine terminal. Also, walls are very thin. No sound proofing.

Great location for station access, very clean rooms, great facilities & very helpful staff. Guest lounge facilities also very good. Would stay again.

Very comfortable hotel. They have on-the-property dining place which in the evening serves snacks (for free). And throughout the day there are some other free perks there. However, the laundry room a bit busy and takes only coins. The gym room is small and does not have heavy weights.

Good location and big size room compared others in Japan. They think of everything you will need and leave it at reception for you to grab.

Overall great hotel, the room was spacious and clean. Lobby lounge had everything you need: snacks, drinks, locker and ect. 4 stars because the affiliated parking lot with discount rate for hotel guests across the street had very limited parking spots and couldn’t be reserved. We ended up parking at a non affiliated parking lot under regular rate for the area which was triple the hotel discount rate.

Fantastic location, close to train lines and airport limousine. Amenities including onsen, buffet breakfast, lounge access make this place superior! Rooms are super clean and spacious. We opted for the “shower booth” room and it didn’t disappoint. This was my second time staying here and won’t be the last.
